Delightful stay and we would definitely choose the same hotel if visiting Lake Garda again.
Pros:

We loved the location with the view over the harbour. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. It is really convenient for both the town and the harbour for sailing on the lake. Having a train station within 20 minutes walk is a bonus too, as Venice, Verona and many other locations are close enough to visit.

Cons:

I Missed having a swimming pool.

Pros:

The hotel has very good location, near harbour, very close to boat dock. It's also walking distance from train station. Rooms are basic but clean. Price-matched offer.

The breakfast is great only missing scramble eggs / other warm eggs.
The location is perfect this is my second stay in this hotel and I will choose it again.

A lovely stay at Hotel Piroscafo
Pros:

We had a fantastic time at Hotel Piroscafo was honestly such a lovely hotel ran by the nicest staff. The hotel was simple, super clean and comfortable. Loved the breakfast buffet, very simple and tasty with great service. The staff were the real stand out in how helpful they were. It was very hot when we were in Desenzano, especially being on the top floor of the hotel. The hotel staff helped us by adjusting the temperature ok the air con and providing us with a fan. So sweet and considerate they were fantastic. The hotel is also a fantastic base to explore northern Italy, a 15 minute walk from the station which links to Verona, Milan and Venice with ease (the walk is uphill however). Also surrounded by so many delicious restaurants- I’d recommend especially ‘The Cave’ and ‘Gourmet Garda’ and the little bar right next door to the hotel. All in all had a lovely time at this very special hotel.
