Outstanding hospitality and a truly memorable stay
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Palace Hotel in Bormio and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Our room was comfortable and very clean. We especially appreciated that the hotel is easily accessible by elevator from the ground floor, which was very important for our family because my father uses a wheelchair. It also made moving our luggage much easier.

Although we arrived late and unfortunately did not have enough time to enjoy the swimming pool, wellness area and fitness room ourselves, other members of our family tried them early the next morning and were very pleased with the facilities.

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of high-quality cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, fresh products and an impressive variety of delicious pastries.

What made our stay truly unforgettable was the incredible kindness and professionalism of the hotel staff. Before our arrival we asked whether it would be possible to prepare a special cake for my parents' 63rd wedding anniversary. The pastry chef exceeded all our expectations. The cake was not only beautiful and delicious, but it was also lactose-free as requested and specially designed so that it could be transported safely during our journey. It made our family celebration even more special, and we are sincerely grateful for the care and attention that went into preparing it.

Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.

If we visit Bormio again in the future, we would be delighted to stay at the Palace Hotel once more.

Prima hotel maar niet bijzonder genoeg

Goede locatie in de Alpen. Klantvriendelijke ontvangst. Goed ontbijt. Groot zwembad.

Cons:

Je betaalt te veel geld voor het zolder kamertje zonder airco dat wij hadden.

Pros:

Fine faciliteter, tæt på centrum og tæt på bjergene. Maden på stedet skal prøves - virkelig lækre aftensmenuer. Meget imødekommende personale.

A relaxing stop after driving through the Stelvio Pass.
Pros:

We arrived at the hotel and were shown straight to our rooms. The bar area was superb with Bruno looking after us. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good. We didn’t have time to try the spa as we left the next day. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice.

Le restaurant !
Notre petit chien est, soi disant le bienvenu, mais il doit rester dans la chambre car on ne peut pas l’emmener au restaurant.
Le buffet d’entrée disparu alors que nous avions à peine commencé à manger 20h30 et sitôt fini (un peu plus de 21 h) on nous dit que le restaurant va fermer et que l’on doit partir !
Menu cher et pas terrible

La piscina davvero grande e la vasca idromassaggio, gli ombrelloni coi lettini esterni. La colazione molto varia e abbondante ela spremuta fresca sicuramente un plus rispetto ai soliti succhi. la posizione è ottima, si raggiunge in 5 minuti a piedi il centro di Bormio.

La camera è carina, il bagno piccolino , leggermente da migliorare.

Pros:

Spent five nights at the Palace Hotel in July. Really enjoyed the stay. Comfortable rooms, lovely breakfasts, great facilities for cyclists and an easy walk into the town. The staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. Might be worth mentioning that, like many hotels in Bormio, The Palace is on a main road into Bormio....there is traffic noise but it quietened down during the night.

Overall a great location but spoilt by the room given.
Pros:

Location is excellent, breakfast and coffee was also very good. Reception area and pool table, swimming pool were all very nice too.

Cons:

It was very hot and to be given a third floor room in the roof with a small window was not ideal. Room 350 did not resemble any of the photos shown on Booking.com for a standard room. It was small, tight, in need of modernisation and rather hot! Not in my nature to complain so did not go to speak to anyone but perhaps should have done as was starting to find it difficult to breath in there.
