Excelente hotel en el centro histórico de Padua
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente y el hotel precioso, una joya de típico estilo elegante de Padua. La habitación era muy amplia y cómoda. El parking se encuentra a unos metros y el personal del hotel acompaña amablemente.

Somewhat mediocre stay at the the Majestic Toscelli
Pros:

The hotel is exceptionally located in the historical centre which makes it nice for exploring. I also like the fact it is a grand old building which makes it seem nicer and cooler. Sadly, it underwhelmed and management just didn't seem to be on the ball.

Cons:

Honestly, I was underwhelmed. The staff literally placed my room right next to the elevator despite a note in my booking saying to place me as far from the elevators as possible (I am a ilght sleeper). After that, I was "upgraded" to a room with such a tiny shower, it was literally a wrap around plastic screen of less than a metre square. I could only spin in place under an anemic showerhead. And the breakfasts were sparse and not so great compared to what I had expected from other Italian hotels to that point. In general though, I just felt it could have been so much more and really the hotel needs a bit of work - but could be utterly awesome if they were invested in making it much nicer (also, another weird thing - a restaurant for the hotel that never seemed open). In any case, it never felt like a 4 star hotel in my opinion and was a surprisingly underwhelming stay amongst all the places I stayed in Italy.
