Ohne viele Worte möchte ich nur sagen, dass wir absolut begeistert waren von einer Woche im San Giorgio. Die River Suites mit Blick aufs Meer sind absolut traumhaft (siehe Bilder aus unserem Zimmer). Der Pool auf dem Dach der River-Suites ist ebenso top (siehe Bild) und eine schöne Alternative zum nicht weniger schönen Privatstrand am Meer oder dem sehr schönen Pool.
Genauso wunderbar war das Essen frühs und abends. Einfach nur perfekt.
Wir können den Aufenthalt hier nur absolut empfehlen, ohne Einschränkungen!!! Es war super. Großes Kompliment an das gesamte San-Giorgio-Team.

Enttäuschend für 4 Sterne – Das Essen war eine absolute Katastrophe
Wir haben dieses Hotel mit den Erwartungen an einen 4-Sterne-Standard gebucht, aber das Essen war eine riesige Enttäuschung. Die Qualität war extrem schlecht und erinnerte eher an eine billige Kantine als an ein gehobenes Hotelrestaurant. Die Gerichte waren geschmacklos, eintönig und lieblos zubereitet. Für den bezahlten Preis ist das kulinarische Angebot absolut inakzeptabel. Wer Wert auf gutes Essen legt, sollte dieses Hotel definitiv meiden.

Sehr gutes Hotel, wir kommen getne wieder!
Pros:

wir waren jetzt nach ca 25 wieder im San Giorgo! Es ist im Vergleich zu damals eine andere Welt! Die Sanierung und Umbauten sind gelungen! Sehr ansprechend auch der gesamte Aussenberreich

Cons:

… eventuell die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet - hier wäre etwas Abwechslung gefragt. Gratis Fahrräder sind gut nur sollten diese auch gewartet werden (schlechte oder falsch eingestellte Bremsen, zu wenig Luft in den Reifen, Lenklager nachstellen, Sättel fixieren - drehen sich beim fahren)
