Superb hotel but get kitchen right
Pros:

Reception staff were extremely professional, listening to us and giving precise information.

The room was spacious and, as an upgrade, was welcomed. Facilities were very good and a fan was provided, on request.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking excellent accommodation in Trieste.

Cons:

The one issue we had was with regard to the restaurant fare. Although staff were attentive and provided excellent customer service, the food provided was sparse in relation to prices. We were disappointed as we had cancelled another restaurant to dine in the hotel.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und hundefreundlich. Wir haben den Aufenthalt wirklich genossen. Man hat uns sogar zwei Stufen upgegradet. Die Lage war perfekt, da es direkt im Zentrum liegt und doch ruhig ist, da direkt davor eine Fußgängerzone ist. Auch die Parkgarage war einfach zu erreichen. Für Hunde zahlt man zwar 25€ pro Nacht, aber das finden wir in Ordnung.

Edles Boutique Hotel in zentraler Innenstadtlage
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt zentral in einer Fußgängerzone. Die Ausstattung ist exklusiv, die Einrichtung orientiert sich an britischem Interior. Frühstück wird entweder draußen im "Schanigarten", im kleinen Frühstückssaal oder im Loungebereich serviert. Es gibt sowohl ein kleines, aber feines Buffet mit frischem Obast, großer Tortenauswahl und etwas Gemüse, als auch die Möglichkeit, die üblichen Gerichte zu bestellen (Ei, Pancakes, Waffeln). Bestes Frühstück, das wir in Italien je hatten. Das Personal war ausgesprochen bemüht, zum Geburtstag gab es Obstteller und gratis drinks, das Zimmer war auf die Straße hinaus, aber nicht laut. Wir kommen definitiv wieder beim nächsten Besuch in Triest!

Really great stay at this lovely bourique hotel in Trieste
Pros:

This hotel felt like a very polished boutique hotel experience. I really enjoyed the place and the stay. Well appointed, comfy rooms and efficient, pleasant staff all round. In a great location, close to everything. Would definitely stay here again if in Trieste.

Cons:

Seagulls. Not much they could do about this but if you sat outside at breakfast, an occasional huge seagull would make a sneak attack on your breakfast table and try to grab breads or whatever it could. Not much to be done by it and I know the staff were doing their best to fend them off (another restaurant in the same street had the same problem when I was there), but imagine some people mighht find it very off-putting if not scare the hell out of them. Made for a good story though... =]

We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel.
Pros:

The hotel is in a very convenient location, practically in the city centre, so there is no need to use public transport to reach most of the city’s main attractions.

They offer good parking options: a more affordable nearby car park with a hotel discount, as well as a more expensive valet parking service. We chose valet parking, and the staff took complete care of our car after we left the keys at reception. It was completely worry-free and definitely worth the additional cost, especially as I was tired after a long drive.

The reception staff were very kind and helpful, and they made us feel genuinely welcome.

Our room was very nice, modern, well organised, clean, and cosy, with plenty of space for all our travel belongings.

Geschmackvolle Farbgebung im ganzen Haus.

Cons:

Wie so oft in italienischen Hotels ist das Badezimmerdesign top - aber unpraktisch.
Auch hier fehlten Ablageflächen für die Toilettenartikel.
