Happy hotel stay
Pros:

Lovely room and easy breakfast at tge hotel to start the day. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Cons:

Our bathroom had a weird smell, just for the age of the building, but it was fine with the door closed.
The publuc transport in the area was limited so we ended up walking or getting a taxi more than anticipated.

Pros:

Great value stay.
Pros:

Great value. A lovely quiet sanctuary in the middle of a bustling area of Rome. The garden at the entrance and the courtyard entry to the room were lovely and bright and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, good value.

Cons:

Room was clean and relatively comfortable, if a little basic but met expectations for the cost of a night. Location is a little further out but close to good public transport.

I loved it! The friendly helpful staff, the little bar and charming garden made all the difference.
Pros:

This is an absolute gem of a small hotel with the most attentive staff, particularly Alex who really looked after me as I was travelling alone. It is an old 'Italian' building tucked away in a student/residential area which is full of graffiti (as is a lot of Italy) but I felt perfectly safe. There is a charming little garden/courtyard plus a bar and always someone on Reception. Next door is a supermarket and I saw some guests eating what they had bought in the bar area with no problem. There are local trattorias nearby where I ate a full meal with wine and coffee for 21 euros. I have read some reviews with complaints about the rooms, but mine was lovely and very quiet. It did have aircon but I did not use it, and there is a lift, and parking! Breakfast was a bargain for 7 euros if you wanted it - a full continental including meats, cheese, boiled eggs plus the usual pastries and cakes, cereals, fruit etc. If you really need a kettle in your room, hot food for breakfast, perfect plumbing and to be in a tourist area, may I suggest you look for an anonymous 4-star hotel elsewhere rather than complaining about this traditional, friendly, 'value', quirky little hotel!! There are buses and trams nearby and Roma Termini is about a 20 minute walk or an approx 10 euro taxi ride. The area around the Termini is like that in any other city, but perfectly ok during the day, and taxis are plentiful if you prefer.

Cons:

I was perfectly happy
