Hotel Viminale

Hotel Viminale was a modern, convenient hotel, well deserving of it top Tripadvisor rating. It is a short walk from Termini, on a quiet street next to a basilica and great pizza place on the corner. Heading in the other direction, it was about a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and nearby attractions. It is also close the Republicca station to catch the subway to the Vatican.

We stayed as a family of 3 in the Superior Double room. It was a small room but pretty standard for European hotels. The decor was very modern, clean lines, with high ceilings. Everything was impeccably clean and tidy. We had a view of the street and were on the same floor as the terrace. The property, like the room is very modern, with a small bar / eating area. Breakfast was included and was a great spread with excellent pastries and hot food. Highly recommended for any Rome trip

Great room and amazing staff.

Awesome 2 night stay at Hotel Viminale. The staff were exceptional, so helpful and friendly. The rooms
were comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast buffet was incredible. The location is central, and we used the staff recommended FreeNow taxi app to get around so easily. Perfect ending to a wonderful week in Italy.

Bed (including pillows) and room was very comfortable and quiet

Rooftops were beautiful

The staff were very kind to provide us with bagged breakfast on our check out day since we were leaving so early. Location was very nice, on a surprisingly quiet street near Termini station. Overall, it very much met our expectations.

I've travelled to Rome over a dozen times, sometimes for business, once before with family. This is now my favorite hotel. The location is wonderful: quiet and safe — yet close to most major sights and the beautiful, lively Monti district. The staff is top-notch: friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, with seating available on their outdoor garden patio. The rooftop terrace is also spectacular - we spent most evenings there before or after dinner, playing games and enjoying the view with a glass of wine or a soda from the downstairs bar. We travelled as a multi-generational family of 8 (between ages 10 and 74), and the staff kindly arranged rooms close to one another - it was as if we had our own wing. It is a smaller, boutique hotel (43 rooms), which for us was perfect. We also appreciated their car service for getting to and from the airport and to St. Peter's Basilica. We'd book this hotel again in a heartbeat!

Nous étions dans une chambre assez grande et propre. Notre chambre donnait sur cour donc elle était silencieuse avec double vitrage.La climatisation marchait convenablement et était très appréciable avec les températures caniculaire.

Everything fantastic

Tout. en commençant par l'accueil très très très très très très chaleureux incroyable comme ils sont tous gentils, très propre petit déjeuner varié, tout simplement magnifique

Hotel Viminale was fantastic. My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and were very happy. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful with any questions (major highlight). Our room was very nice, always clean and it came with breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed each morning. The location of the hotel is great if you’re arriving or leaving by train, and it’s an easy walk to all major city attractions. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Rome was the last stop on our two week trip and we couldn't have been more pleased with the hotel location, interior, bar, breakfast and STAFF was over the top special. A big thanks for everyone there who made our stay fantastic. The concierge and front staff helped set up delicious restaurant suggestions and reservations. We booked with the optional breakfast and had not idea what to expect. WOW was I pleasantly surprised!! Such a delicious spread and beautiful quiet outdoor patio garden to start our morning. I love Rome but our hotel stay made me extra sad to leave. We will be back to Hotel Viminale...5 STARS!! Thank you again!

I stayed with my dad for 4 nights in mid - may for his birthday a really fab experience and definitely want to return . The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough , the continental breakfast offered a great choice and the bar a nice cosy atmosphere of an evening before we went out to dinner .

Location is also great close enough to some lovely bars and restaurants and far enough ‘ out’ of the main bit as a respite from the crowds .

Thankyou so much for making his birthday a special experience for our first trip to beautiful Rome .
