Location near Vatican
Noisy. Wry poor wifi
La posizione
Struttura vecchia
Nice hotel with friendly personnel, very close to the Vatican.
Nice big room in the 4th floor (elevator existent) with a view on St. Peter's coppola - the window at the same time very well isolated against noise from the street.
The sewer system should be looked into. Slight odour, vanishing quickly when the ventilation was on.
Près du Vatican et restaurants
Matela dur, petite chambre
Nothing
1. OVERPRICED BY A LOT for what it’s. With 150€ per night , the room is dark and old, very low hot water pressure, broken curtains, breakfast looks all from over night and sad, hotel common area looks dirty, they share the building with other tenants and use the same common area, and the noise separation between rooms and with corridor is near NON EXISTENT.
2. It’s not classic vibe, it’s OLD WITHOUT REPAIR. The first moment when we get into our triple beds room, the first thing was the SMELL of old furniture, then with just one main white light in the room, the room feel like from a murder movie. Their curtains are totally broken and unable to close it.
3. ZERO NOISE SEPARATION. The room’s entry door is basically made from sandwich wood, and the big gap between door and the wall makes the light from the corridor slip in easily. Walls between rooms are also bad in noise separation.
4. NOT A “PRIME LOCATION”. Yes, it’s next to Vatican, but in comparison to others, the surrounding is noisy and dirty. It is giving a SHADY MOTEL VIBE in a shady downtown area instead of a hotel that charges 150€, when others in the same price range in Rome with much better installation plus same central location.
5. LOW TO NON EXISTENT HOT WATER PRESSURE, when we try to take a hot shower at night, the water flow is in its best a creek instead shower. When we told the front desk about the pressure, the answer was like , it’s an old building, it’s what it’s when many people using the water at the same time.
6. DARK BATHROOM that’s look like a 50€ motel, with a single white lightbulbs, no natural lighting, and the pale looking tile and floor. It’s acceptable for under 100€ per night but not 150
