This is a 2 star service hotel, outdated attitudes, contempt for actual customers and outrageously over priced. Save you
Pros:

Location, an impressive castle, secure car park.

Cons:

Attitude of the staff and lack of service and facilities. For 480 Euro this hotel is outrageously overpriced and outdated in many ways. It was my wife's Birthday, I asked for flowers to be arranged for the room but was sent details to make arrangements myself with a local florist. We were given welcome drinks in the bar which has doors onto a patio overlooking the sea. On receiving the drinks we were told we could only drink them in the bar area! we could not drink on the patio with the sea unless we purchased another drink! Totally unreasonable and not what you'd expect for a supposed 5 star hotel. In the evening we discovered we had no bottle opener or glasses in the room, I called to reception and asked for wine glasses and was sent Paper Cups! On phoning reception again I was told ' we don't make the rules' the same excuse given at ' the not so welcome drink'. The bathroom was dated, mouldy shower (see photos) I expect paper cups in McDonalds - not as an adult paying 480 Euro for one night. I was so annoyed we left without trying the breakfast.

A chaque visite, c'est toujours un enchantement
Pros:

Nous avons, comme notre précédente visite, tout aimé, le personnel est attentionné, souriant.
Les très grands volumes des pièces, l'authenticité du Château et du Parc.
Le restaurant ses plats, sa vue.
L'emplacement, le silence, la ville... ect

Cons:

Personnellement, pour moi, cette fois-ci, le matelas et l'oreille étaient trop fermes.

GRANDE ESTADIA!

A localização é excelente. Do hotel se vê toda a cidade e o mar. O elevador que leva até a rua em frente ao mar é muito conveniente. Chegamos de carro e tive dúvida de onde o Waze estava me levando porque entra na ZTL. Então parei o carro perto do elevador e subi à recepção para pedir informação de como chegar. Tem que entrar mesmo na ZTL, passar por trás da igreja e subir até o hotel. O quarto era bem amplo e confortável. Banheiro bom. Bom café da manhã. Li alguns comentários a respeito de pagar pelos ovos. Tem ovos mexidos à vontade. Você só paga se pedir ovos feitos na hora.

Cons:

O banheiro não tem bancada. Isso dificulta muito. Uma das janelas tinha um blackout estreito e não cobria a janela toda.

La location è fantastica: un castello veramente bellissimo, con una vista incredibile su Sestri, la Baia del Silenzio e sul mare.
Il parco molto bello anche se necessiterebbe di un po' di manutenzione verde.
Il castello è tenuto veramente bene, arredato con cura; il solarium al terzo piano incredibile
La colazione ottima e varia
Il personale efficiente e gentilissimo
Se dobbiamo trovare una pecca il ristorante non è secondo noi all'altezza, ma il resto compensa veramente

Il ristorante: servizio un po' lento, ma soprattutto i piatti non all'altezza della location.
