Despite the excellent location and the beautiful rooms, unfortunately our stay was a major disappointment.
We paid approximately €550 for two rooms for one night and were given rooms 301 and 302 on the top floor. These rooms are located in the restaurant area, directly opposite the restaurant toilets. The toilets are used not only by restaurant customers, but also by hotel guests who arrive early and are waiting for check-in time.
Having shared toilets directly opposite the door of your hotel room is uncomfortable in itself. Having people use the toilets right outside your room during the day reduces the sense of privacy and comfort. Considering the price we paid, we did not expect the rooms to be so closely connected to the common areas.
We were very tired during the day and tried to take a short nap in the afternoon. However, it was quite difficult to fall asleep because of the noise coming from the kitchen and the toilet door directly opposite our rooms, which made a loud dragging noise every time it was opened and closed.
Even after the restaurant closed, it was not completely quiet. Preparations for the following day continued for some time, along with noise from the kitchen and cleaning.
In addition, the air conditioning in one of the rooms did not work effectively enough.
The location in Amalfi is truly fantastic and the rooms themselves are very nice, which actually made our experience even more disappointing. However, considering that we paid approximately €550 for two rooms for one night, we expected a much better level of comfort, privacy and quiet.
If you are offered rooms 301 or 302, I would recommend asking for a different room, especially if you value peace and privacy.

Very loud, could be due to other guests staying at the time, but we were woken up every night multiple times by loud individual shouting or screaming past our door of our room - not necessarily the accommodations fault, we may have had a room that has a lot of foot fall outside.

L’impossibilité de réguler l’air conditionné, les chambres sont régulées a priori à une certaine température mais il est impossible de la baisser. Il y a un ventilateur dans la chambre mais il est inefficace face aux températures de l’été. Si vous ne supportez pas la chaleur en dormant, cet hôtel n’est pas adapté. De plus, il est un peu cher pour la qualité reçue.
Location is great … directly above Piazza Duomo and short walk from the ferry. You might consider booking a balcony room with amazing view of the Duomo ( see photo )
I booked a stay at this hotel but unfortunately had to cancel prior to arrival due to a medical issue that prevented my wife from flying. While I understand that non-refundable booking policies apply and that the hotel had reserved the room for us, my disappointment lies entirely in how the situation was handled.
I reached out politely to ask if a partial refund or compromise (such as waiving standard overhead costs like room cleaning) might be considered given the circumstances. My messages were ignored for the partial or any refund and the communication I did receive beforehand was dismissive and rude. While a business is entitled to uphold its terms, poor customer communication during a stressful situation was very disappointing.
