Buca di Bacco is more than a hotel in Positano — it feels like part of Positano itself. The location is exceptional, just steps from the beach and close to everything, a rare privilege in a town built on hills and stairways.

Its restaurant is another highlight, combining authentic Italian flavors with the lively atmosphere of the village. And then there are the beautiful traditional tiled floors: full of color, history and personality, giving every corner that unmistakable Mediterranean charm.

A hotel with a privileged address, genuine character and a soul that no modern luxury can imitate. At Buca di Bacco, you don’t simply stay in Positano — you live it.

Location was amazing steps from the water! Ocean view room was emasculate with a patio and chairs! Clean hotel, hospitality was great! Highly recommended for anyone going to Positano!

The hotel is in an excellent location, making it a great base for exploring the area.

Very efficient check-in, and it was a lovely touch to find a complimentary bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the room.

A special mention goes to Roeland on reception, who provided excellent service. He was professional, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay.

Overall, we had a great experience.

We would happily recommend this hotel and would consider staying again.

It’s an excellent hotel with very attentive service. Room service responds to requests quickly and efficiently. The beach is literally just a one-minute walk away, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back!

Visiting Positano has been a dream of mine for years, and finally experiencing it was everything I had hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the most incredible view I've ever seen. It was simply breathtaking.

The room was beautiful, thoughtfully appointed, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. A special thank you to Barbara, who was so gracious with her restaurant recommendations and happily arranged all of our reservations. Every recommendation was outstanding.

I'd also like to thank the staff member at checkout who kindly refunded the bottle of wine I had preordered for our arrival but never opened. That thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated.

This hotel was definitely a splurge for the view, but it was worth every penny. Thank you for giving us the experience of a lifetime. It's a stay we'll never forget.
