Our stay at Hotel Marincanto was nothing short of magical, and it will forever be one of our most cherished honeymoon me
Pros:

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hotel Marincanto. My wife and I stayed for two nights during our honeymoon, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to the Amalfi Coast.

From the moment we arrived, Paolo made us feel incredibly welcome. He is, without question, one of the best hotel managers we have ever encountered. He was kind, friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. Despite our relatively short stay, Paolo somehow memorized our names and would regularly check in to see how we were enjoying Positano and whether there was anything he could do to help. His warmth and professionalism made us feel less like hotel guests and more like valued friends.

When our originally booked room was not yet ready at check-in, Paolo graciously upgraded us to an even nicer room, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture and a wonderful surprise for our honeymoon. Throughout our stay, he provided phenomenal recommendations for restaurants in both Positano and Ravello, all of which were outstanding. He also directed us to beautiful shops featuring timeless handmade ceramics, allowing us to bring home meaningful pieces that will always remind us of our trip.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views, beautiful accommodations, and exceptional service throughout. We also had dinner at Terrazza Celè, and it was one of the best dining experiences of our entire vacation. The food was exceptional, the wine selection was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Every aspect of the evening exceeded our expectations.

Hotel Marincanto provided the perfect setting for our honeymoon, and Paolo played a huge role in making it so memorable. His genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and commitment to guest satisfaction are truly remarkable. We left with incredible memories and cannot wait for the opportunity to return.

Pros:

Overall, it was wonderful. Great facility, great staff; very knowledgeable.

Cons:

Just the pressing iron or steamer issue. Every time we took 1, they had to come calling or knocking to take it to another guest. They should improve on that. But over, it was all good.

Amazing staff, locations and beach access
Pros:

Location can’t be beat, one of the few properties with its own beach. Staff were exceptional, especially concierge Paolo . Amazing views from our room and breakfast also great.

Cons:

Room smelled a bit musty and we were only given 2 bath towels for 4 people

Magical!
Pros:

Gorgeous property, loved that it had its own private beach section and stairs down to it. The woman that worked reception was so kind and warm. We loved our bath tub and it was so magical.

Cons:

Didn’t love our dinner there. Had a big building that blocked our view a bit. Also had a window from another room that looked directly into our bath tub.

We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat next time we are in Positano.
Pros:

Beautiful location, beautiful room, but the staff really set this place apart! Everyone there is extremely accommodating and kind.

Cons:

There is no downside. The hike up the property is the only thing that is a little challenging, but it is well worth it for the views.

You’re making a huge mistake if you don’t stay here—Trust Me!!
Pros:

We loved everything about this hotel. During our 2 to 3 month travels through Europe, this was our favorite resort. Every single employee was kind and professional. The view from our room is something we will never forget! The pool and private beach gave us so much happiness. And the food both during the morning at the breakfast buffet and at night for dinner outside on the terrace was exceptional. This hotel was the highlight of our trip! Bravo to the management of this hotel because they have a team of exceptional employees working for them. The concierge was kind and generous with his time. And we enjoyed meeting one of the owners’ daughter who also works at the hotel and does an excellent job.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing! We loved everything about our stay.
