Good location, comfortable stay
Pros:

Great building, beautiful upgraded room, location was perfect

Cons:

Standard rooms are quite small, we had to upgrade to a suite and it was much bigger. Would definitely recommend the suite

Pros:

Room was on the fourth floor with a large balcony overlooking the Arno so location was absolutely perfect. Hotel also had
lovely garden and a roof terrace. Safe parking area for car.
Very easy to walk from hotel to all the Florence sites. Staff were very hospitality and breakfast was good.

The room was great and everyone working there was extremely friendly and very helpful!! Would definitely stay at Hotel Principe again!! It was a short walk to many sites!!

Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit,würde wieder kommen allerdings eine Zimmerkategorie höher!

Cons:

Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer,Grösse ok,Duschkopf plus Schlauch sollte ersetzt werden,auch die Steckdose im Bad unbedingt kontrollieren!

A beautiful hotel
Pros:

- Excellent hotel, with welcoming and super friendly staff.
- My friend and I had single rooms that were large and comfortable.
- Great views with river facing balconies.
- Excellent, filling breakfast.
- Within easy walk of all that Florence has to offer.
- A very enjoyable weekend.

Cons:

- The small fridges do not keep things cold
- We had to ask for additional beverages to our rooms as they are not replenished.
- It's a real shame that more is not made of the lounge bar and roof top in the evenings as this could be a rare, favourable addition to anyone's stay here.

Having said that, we would stay here again.

A truly wonderful last minute find!
Pros:

Everything. This hotel is just lovely and a flashbback to an earlier time. Its grandeur may be a little faded but that only adds to its wonderful charm. We had a lovely room with a river view (room 44) and balcony. Value for money was very good and we would certainly come back. The staff are absolutely wonderful and nothing is too much for them. Highlights of this hotel are the rooftop - the views and the attention to detail at breakfast - really above and beyond.

Cons:

Whilst I have no mobility issues - getting into the shower over the bath felt a little precarious.
