Location in Florence
Service was excellent, the staff was friendly and the room was nice :)
Everything was really great

Minder effectief

Yesterday was the second day of our stay in this hotel, In the morning, I found ants crawling on our bread in the room and immediately notified the staff. They offered to clean it, but because my 14-year-old child has allergies, I explicitly and strictly told them: "Do not clean it, leave it as it is, because the child is allergic." Right then, I also asked them to change our room due to the ant infestation, but the front desk completely refused to help us or provide another room.Later on, I noticed a strong chemical smell and realized they had ignored my medical warning and sprayed a toxic insecticide (Baygon) anyway. Seeing how unhelpful they had been with my room change request, I knew it was useless to talk to them again. Instead, we had to rush to ventilate the room ourselves late at night. To make matters worse, the staff tried to blame me, claiming we were not allowed to eat in the room. However, there was absolutely NO such rule mentioned anywhere on Booking.com during the booking process, nor was I informed about it at check-in.As a direct result of their negligence, my allergic child’s health was put at serious risk. This hotel violated health protocols, ignored medical warnings, refused a basic room change, and harassed us to cover up their mistake. Also the furniture is old and dirty, there is a lot of stairs before you reach hotel and standard double room is downstairs where coming with the suitcase is very difficult. Pictures are quite inappropriate for children's age. At every night there started a very strange voices, rooms downstairs not have numbers, so someone tried to come to our room in fault.
