A fantastic location that could not be better. Such a central location.
All the staff were brilliant and so very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was excellent with delicious choices to start the day and always a courteous, happy pair of staff in attendance to help if needed.
Our room was a delight. We are so pleased we booked room 31, giving us a wonderful view.
The bed was so very comfortable and the walk-in shower incredible and so welcome after a long day sightseeing. This hotel is charming for a stay in Florence.
This location is perfect. Right in the Duomo area and plenty of food and shops right downstairs.
We had a balcony to enjoy.
They have free ice cream which we made use of a few times! Also cold or sparkling water to fill out water bottles.
The staff are great.
Note there is only one lift to get to the 4th floor, however you can use the stairs if you are up to it.
We stayed at the hotel for four nights during our holiday in Florence and it's hard to imagine a better location or a more charming hotel.
From a location point of view, you are literally next to the Duomo - if you go out the front door and walk forward 50 feet you'll run into the walls of the cathedral. The location is simply the best - nothing we wanted to see in town was more than a 15 minute walk from the front door. Whether you want to see Ponte Vecchio or the Uffizi or any of the other museums, it's all under 15 minutes away. Additionally, the range of restaurant options is stunningly huge - you can find anything you want from a standard tourist trap to a hidden Florentine gem, it's all close.
The rooms are very nicely sized for European rooms and the staff is fantastic at both the front desk and at the breakfast nook. Don't skip on the breakfast option, the coffee is delightful. If this all hasn't put your interest level over the top, did I mention that they have free gelato on the main floor? The cooler is available for guests all day and there are 4-5 options so just scopp your preference and have a little dessert out on the patio.
This hotel is a definite winner if you're in FLorence so don't delay, book your room.
This was my second time to be in this hotel in the last five months. Excellent location! The service is professional, friendly, and full of extra touches that make the stay convenient and enjoyable. I would definitely book again.

I would highly recommend staying at this Hotel. The location is centrally located right across from the Duomo , the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Had a great few days at Hotel Duomo when my girlfriend and I visited back in late July. The location is unbeatable, as it is, as the name suggests, right next to the Florence Duomo. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Florence train station which is pretty good but getting into the actual hotel is quite interesting, as you have to take a really old looking elevator that upon first view can seem to be a little sketchy. The room itself was neat and clean, and has a great view of the Duomo. While it is located in the middle of the action, I can honestly say that we hardly heard any street noise which was good. I also thought the breakfast was very nice, as there is an option to sit on an outdoor terrace that's literally right next to the Duomo which is great. Overall, you get great value for your money!
The hotel is situated directly in front of the Duomo. The room was clean and well-kept. The staff is amazing—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Chef Atta, who spoiled us every day with delicious coffee and cakes. Wonderful experience!

We loved our week-long stay in this hotel! Our room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the cathedral. We enjoyed being able to open the window and hear music and the people, but we found it quiet once the window was closed. Convenient location with great breakfast and very helpful staff. We were sad to leave-- would stay here again without hesitation!

Great hotel - very helpful and gracious staff. We opened our room window and right outside was the Duomo. Couldn't have a better view, people watching, etc. When the windows were closed, and black out curtains in use there was no noise from the church, the crowds or light coming in. We did have to walk one flight of stairs down from lobby (on 4th floor), so keep that in mind if there are mobility issues. We would choose again!
Lovely hotel. Staff are great. comfy beds ,clean rooms couldn't ask for more . The free homemade ice cream ,snacks , tea coffee are a nice touch.Highly recommended
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Duomo Florence and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is absolutely perfect—just steps away from the Duomo, making it incredibly easy to explore Florence on foot and soak in the city’s atmosphere.
WOW!!! Do not miss a visit to Hotel Duomo Firenze! We are avid travelers and this hotel is 5+ star for service, breakfast (totally amazing!) and 24/7 fresh made gelato and snacks! The staff are equal, if not better, than any 5star hotels we stay at. The location is beyond perfect (if you want to walk out your hotel door and be in the city center, at the door of the Duomo) without hearing any street noise in your room! What could be better!!!

What a beautiful location. Perfect and right in the middle of everything! The friendliness of staff, great rooms (we had a couple different types) each had its own charm. Everything was very clean and well kept. Very professional and welcoming. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Florence.
We loved everything about the hotel. Location was so great especially with our view of the Duomo Room was very good and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast and gelato were a big hit and very very good. Staff was outstanding. Christino (spelling?) and Philip (spelling?) were awesome.

We had an amazing stay in Florence. Our hotel was perfect for our family of three. The rooms were clean, well-kept, and spacious enough for all of us. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options. Cappuccinos were also available! The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The location of this place is great, and the views of the cathedral was amazing. It's great to see the cathedral late at night and early in the morning with fewer people and it was really convenient to get in line first to climb the dome. The room was really cute and very nice.
