All in all, I would stay again but request a room with carpet
Pros:

Charming villa, close to Lucca centro. Excellent staff.

Cons:

The room we stayed in was a bit tired, carpet flooring that was a bit worn and stained. Grounds, gardens and pool area could use some maintenance. Lovely place though.

Mycket trevligt boende. Fantastisk personal och maten var mycket god. Trevliga milljö och poolen var ett stort plus

Utfarten till gatan hade lite problem med sikten. Skulle vara bra led speglar så att man kan se om det kommer trafik

Pros:

A unique stay full of character! A lovely setting in the hills with a pool to ease the hot days and a generous spread for breakfast. Easy parking on site and well located if you are planning to visit Lucca and Pisa - only short drives away.

Cons:

The facilities were a bit tired, still functional but are opportunities for improvement.

Pros:

It's super quite at the hotel, amazing historicsl building with great interior. It was spotlessly clean in the room and the bathroom. The restaurant took care of my request to provide cool wine and dinner as we arrived late at the evening. The breakfast also was very good. Close to Lucca and Pisa airport.

Napoleon’s sister’s villa - great experience
Pros:

Pleasantly surprised when I found out that it was the hunting lodge of Napoleon’s sister. It’s surrounded by a nice park and it is very quiet. They served a very nice breakfast and had tables outside. It was nice to feel like royalty at a very reasonable price. Good parking, good WiFi, nice pool, nice staff.

Schlösschen bei Lucca.
Pros:

Das alte Gebäude mit wunderschönen Garten und Pool
Die Nähe zu Lucca. Der Café in der Früh wird dem Gast serviert. Es gibt also kein Schlange stehen am Café Automaten.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war absolut rundum gelungen. Besonders begeistert hat uns das sehr gute Frühstück, das eine tolle Auswahl bot und für einen perfekten Start in den Tag sorgte. Zudem hat das Hotel eine perfekte Lage, von der aus man alles schnell und unkompliziert erreichen kann. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet, sauber und bieten genau den Komfort, den man für eine gelungene Übernachtung braucht. Es war alles bestens – wir kommen gerne wieder!
