Nice Hotel, perfect location, but very small room

Next to the old city wall. Parking for free behind the building. Perfect location

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel.

Cons:

Un piccolissimo appunto di poco conto: il telecomando della tv non funzionava bene e non era possibile inserire un timer di spegnimento.

Gute Lage - viel zu teuer
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist unschlagbar: Direkt an der Mauer zwischen 2 Toren gelegen und Lucca daher zu Fuß gut zu erkunden. Das Auto kann auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz stehenbleiben. Fußläufig ist der Bahnhof zu erreichen, so dass man bequem nach Pisa gelangen kann (3 Stationen). Es gibt einen kostenfreien Fahrrad-Verleih, den ich allerdings nicht in Anspruch genommen habe. Sicherlich aber eine gute Option. Sehr netter Check-In (vor der eigentlichen Check-In -Zeit) und gute Orientierung zu Lucca bei Anreise.

Cons:

Ich bin früh abgereist und hatte um ein "Frühstück to go" gebeten. Die lapidare Antwort war, dass ich mir etwas vom Frühstücksbuffet nehmen soll. Auf meinen Einwand hin, dass ich vor der Frühstückszeit abreisen würde, führte nur zur Wiederholung dieser Antwort. Es kam wie es kommen musste: bei meiner Abreise war der Frühstücksraum verschlossen und logischerweise kein Frühstücksbuffet aufgebaut - voll bezahlen musste ich trotzdem. Da erwarte ich etwas anderes von einer 4-Sterne-Unterkunft! Darüber hinaus: Zimmer 58 (Einzelzimmer) hatte für mich keine adäquate Ausstattung und ein nervtötendes flackerndes Licht im Badezimmer.

Super hotel! Our score 12/10
Pros:

Very nice hotel, very nice spa accommodation friendly crew, the city is a 15 min walking but with the bicycles (free to use) only few minutes.
The room was brand new. Unfortunately we couldn’t try the breakfast because we had to leave at 6am.
There is a private parking free of charge.

Our rating is 12/10

Pros:

Perfect location. Nice staff. Good breakfast although was missing warm options.

Cons:

Classic room was very small and poorly equipped so we had to keep our things in the bags what was not comfortable.
