My 12-year-old and I stayed at Hotel San Marco last week, and we had a fantastic time.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Lots of smiles and always happy to help.
The pool area was lovely and provided the perfect spot to relax and cool off after a day of exploring the city. We also really enjoyed the breakfast every morning; there was a great variety of fresh options.
It’s a fantastic, comfortable spot for families traveling with kids. We would love to return next time we're in Lucca!

Pros:

The San Marco Hotel was in a great location, a short walk from Lucca's walls - made accessing the old town very easy. The availability of bikes was great. Front desk staff super helpful.

Pros:

Lucca itself is a really charming city, and host to amazing musicians during the summer festival, and this hotel is a perfect base to enjoy the area. Its 10mins max walking distance from the centre and just outside the walls which makes it a little cooler. Its a spotless hotel, with a beautiful small pool, lovely rooms, lovely breakfast and absolutely outstanding staff. There are superb rail services from nearby station to florence, Pisa, Etc. I really had a FABULOUS stay, thank you all so much for minding me so well...Ill be back!!!

Pros:

Otroligt trevlig personal, speciellt mannen i receptionen som visade oss till rummet, förklarade det tekniska i rummet, närmsta vägen till centrum och var supertrevlig och glad. Vi fick stanna kvar vid poolen hela dagen efter utcheckning.
Starkt och gott kaffe. Frukostbuffén hade allt man kunde önska, poolmenyn likaså. Lugnt o skönt hotell. Cikadorna underhåller med sin skönsång i träden intill.
