Beautiful hotel in very good location. The staff was so welcoming, positive and helpful. I will stay there again while in Lucca

Aamiainen oli hyvä, ei erikoinen mutta ihan toimmiva. Etäisyys kuumassa lämpötilassa (40 astetta) hieman liian pitkä kävelleen vanhaan kaupunkiin mutta mahdollinen. Erittäin hyvä palvelu receptionissa ja muutenkin palvelu erinomaista. Altaan alueelle saisi tehoistaa tarjoilua. Kaiken kaikkiaan hyvä hotelli / palvelu

The hotel was just the right size to have that personal feeling, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Contemporary well furnished rooms, all very clean, lovely and very helpful staff. Well positioned, only 5 minutes walk from the city walks. Good breakfast offer. Nice pool and surrounds. Would definitely stay there again.

Het zwembad en de upgrade van de kamer zodat we een balkon hadden, ook het personeel was aardig en hielp met adviezen wat te doen.

Vorrei ringraziare in modo particolare il personale per la grande gentilezza e attenzione dimostrata nei nostri confronti. Vedendo le difficoltà di mio marito, ci hanno proposto spontaneamente una camera più accessibile, con una doccia a filo pavimento, un gesto che abbiamo apprezzato davvero molto e che ci ha fatto sentire accolti con grande sensibilità.

Un altro punto di forza è sicuramente la colazione: ricchissima, con un’ampia scelta di prodotti freschi e di ottima qualità. Mi ha ricordato la colazione che si trova sulle navi da crociera, davvero eccellente.

Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto usufruire della piscina perché il motivo del nostro viaggio ci ha portati a cambiare programma, ma l’area ci è sembrata molto piacevole e ben curata.

La posizione è comodissima: appena fuori dalle mura di Lucca, permette di raggiungere il centro storico con una breve passeggiata, senza lo stress di dover utilizzare l’auto.

Se dovessimo tornare a Lucca, sarebbe sicuramente un hotel che prenderemmo di nuovo in considerazione.

The hotel was in a quiet location, less than 10 minutes walk from Lucca old town. Staff were attentive, hardworking and helpful. Gardens and pool area were lovely. Reception staff exceptionally helpful. Room very comfortable and clean.

Fabulous stay at this hotel, the staff were warm and welcoming, showing us around the hotel on our arrival. We stayed in the annexe and had a suite of rooms and a garden. the position of the hotel is perfect with an easy walk in to Lucca. We loved Lucca with some great restaurants and lovely squares, we especially loved Sotto Sotto. The breakfasts were very good and it was lovely to be able to sit outside in the lovely garden. It was nice to have a pool after a hot day sightseeing. We visited Florence during our stay using the train which worked perfectly. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Hotel San Marco is a well located , modern hotel close to the medieval walls of Lucca. The pool area provides much needed relief.
The staff in particular Fabio and Ina are the heart of this hotel. Their customer service was exceptional. From providing colouring in for the children to helping retrieve a stroller left behind in a taxi.
Breakfast and breakfast staff were great.
