The place is beautiful! The Hotel property used to be a monastery, it’s incredibly charming! The finishes are beautiful and everything is well maintained. We had a lovely time at the pool and the sunset was gorgeous
Nothing
Great aura, large spaces, an unreal monastery building, an outdoor pool, good food and helpful service in the restaurant
I didn't like the unprofessional staff at the reception, who wanted to charge extra fees for my 3-year-old daughter, and charged expenses in the restaurant that were not ours. When I made a comment at check-out, the extra expenses were suddenly adjusted...which apparently happens with other guests too. I also didn't like that when paying 500-600 euros per day, they want to get 5 euros for scrambled eggs at breakfast😂pathetic marketing...and when I booked a smaller room, I was asked to sit at a reserved table with uncomfortable chairs during breakfast...I had to change them to more comfortable ones😂Anyway, it's a great place with good staff in the restaurant👌I just think the staff at the reception should be fired..who is unprofessional and accepts unpleasant strategies..
This was one of our favorite stays in our long trip. Every corner of this wonderful property is as lovely as I'd imagined it would be. What made it even better was how friendly the entire staff was. The front desk was eager to share recommendations not just in Siena but other cities as well, and our waiter made us feel right at home and had great wine suggestions. We loved being surrounded by the beauty of the trees and flowers, whether it was on the terrace for breakfast, the garden for an aperitif and jazz music, or the pool where you can take a swim and relax with a cold white wine. It is a bit of a distance from the city center, but their shuttle driver can take you and we once took a good stroll back in the evening after dinner. Also, parking is plentiful in their parting lot. I am glad we picked this oasis and I hope to return one day.
Nada
Just an amazingly lovely place to stay. Beautiful, stylish, relaxed, spacious. Great service, friendly and warm. An amazing setting in an old monastery, really nicely done. Lovely big swimming pool and space to hang out without feeling like other people are all over you. Not unduly fancy or over-the-top - the rooms are nice without being amazing - but it’s the sort of place where you don’t hang out in your room because there are so many better places to be. Location is great - you can get a shuttle into Siena but have the peace of being outside it. We spent two days in Siena (although I’ve been many times it still blew me away), and one e-biking around the countryside. I can’t recommend Certosa Di Maggiano highly enough - wonderful place.
My wife and I stayed there for six nights in May. Right away you feel like you are in Tuscany. Wonderful vibe. The property is amazing. It made for a perfect home base from which we set out on day trips throughout Tuscany. Best of all were the people. From Michelle to Christopher to all the other staff, thank you for a great stay.
The hotel is a wonderfully remodeled old monastery from the 14th century, adorned with all modern standards of five-star accommodation. Activities at-or-around the area include tennis, swimming in the infinity pool (bring your googles), cooking classes, horseback riding, fine dinning (as well as simpler food choices), and efficient concierge services. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and accomidating. Touring by car is an easy way to explore the nearby medieval towns.
The local town of Siena is within walking distance while also being supported by a hotel-run shuttle. (Take the shuttle to town and walk back if you have the inclination to do so.) On property, parking is available.
The only negative is that it makes all the other places you may stay pale by comparison.
A wonderful stay in a beautiful and unique setting. The historic atmosphere, stunning surroundings, and charming rooms made our visit truly special. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help, creating a warm and relaxing experience from start to finish.
Tolles Boutique Hotel in super Lage.
Todo!!! Maravilloso!!!!! Muy lindo ! Limpio! El personal muy amable y a pocos minutos del centro de Siena. Fuimos con niños y les encantó la piscina, juegos de mesa y Tennis. Un hotel muy completo y renovado el monasterio perfectamente.
El café podría mejorar.

Amazing views along with a wonderful staff!
Hospitality is lovely and would love to come back again
Location a bit far away from center town but its lovely covering nature near by it
Rien
Absolutely everything. We stayed for 1 night but we wished it was longer. The staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home. The drinks were superb and not too expensive. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening which was also excellent. The red snapper and the duck ragu tagliatelle were both delicious and the wine, perfect. Location was top notch, stunning views and a lovely 30 minute scenic walk into Siena. Our room was absolutely flawless, very clean, very stylish and very comfortable. With a stunning view out to the bell tower. Within an hour of being here, we were already planning our return, and return we most certainly will!
Everything was perfect!
