The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it’s well maintained and clean. The staff are absolutely lovely and will do absolutely anything to make your stay perfect. We will definitely be coming back in the future, we only wish we had more time there. It was the perfect stay to make me and my fiancés engagement special.
Alles klopt, de tuin, het restaurant, het zwembad en het personeel

The staff was very friendly, the location was great, the property is amazing, the evening room check - preparing the bed, slippers, closing the blinds.
Overall, nothing bad, just room for improvement: full blackout curtains
J’ai aimé l’ambiance décontractée, l’accueil chaleureux et le charme de cet endroit, où tout est joli et pas clinquant.
Having turned a former cloister into a 5-star retreat with only 20+ charming rooms and a generous garden, all perfectly fitted in the Tuscan landscape, created the best (not just one-of-the-best), truly the best holiday experience we had; and I have stayed at and seen many resorts.
All was perfect.

Everything, didn’t want to leave a review in case everybody starts going 🙂
Nothing
A place where every detail feels effortless. Drinks under the magnolia tree, large poolside daybeds, and breakfast under the wisteria. Friendly smiles everywhere, with food and drinks appearing almost before you ask. Beautiful, peaceful, generous with space—and somehow even better than you imagined.

Agradavel envolvencia e instalaçoes historicas
O pequeno almoco foi a principal desilusao.
This is a really beautiful hotel. Well worth a visit. Staff are really friendly & helpful. It’s so peaceful & you are surrounded by rolling hills & olive trees. The restaurant is fabulous.
We had booked three rooms for three nights to spend a few days with friends.
Three days before our arrival, the hotel informed us in writing that there would be a scheduled power outage until 3:00 p.m. on the day we arrived. In the same message, they clearly assured us that electricity would definitely be restored by 3:00 p.m. Based on that assurance, we decided to keep our reservation.
We are elderly guests and particularly sensitive to high temperatures. In the middle of July, having air conditioning was therefore essential for our comfort.
Unfortunately, by 8:00 p.m., the power had still not been restored. There was still no air conditioning, making the rooms extremely uncomfortable in the summer heat. We therefore asked to cancel the remainder of our stay.
The hotel manager then gave us his word that our reservation would be fully cancelled and that we would receive a full refund within seven days. We trusted his commitment and left the hotel accordingly.
Now, he has completely changed his position. He only wants to refund the first night and claims that the remaining amount will only be refunded after the electricity company compensates the hotel, which could take months—or even years.
A power outage can happen, and we fully understand that it was beyond the hotel’s control. What is unacceptable is not the outage itself, but the fact that the manager failed to honor the commitment he made to us.
This review is not about the power outage. It is about a manager who made a clear promise to his guests and then refused to keep it. In hospitality, trust and integrity matter just as much as comfort.
For that reason, we unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.
The Property was beautiful. The staff were exceptional. Could not have been more helpful. Michelle and her team were fantastic.
It had so many spaces to explore and use.
