A good place to keep cool and enjoy some great Tuscan surroundings.
Pros:

Beautiful property with gorgeous views and gardens. Lovely staff - friendly and welcoming.
Great food. Nice pool.
Easy access to Siena.

Cons:

Our room was in a separate place to the main villa but maybe because we had a dog?
Disappointed as was hoping to stay in a Tuscan villa. Maybe make it clearer what the options are?
Also the sleeping area was a mezzanine with the bathroom downstairs - again it would be good to tell people this in case they have accessibility problems.

Eigentlich nichts mehr.

Vor einigen Jahren war dies eine sehr charmante Unterkunft.
Statt italienischen Kellnern gibt es NUR noch Mitarbeieter aus Übersee.
Früher wurde das Frühstück im Garten, mit Servierwagen serviert, heute im Innern, in einer Bahnhofhalle.
Früher war das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig, heute gibt es billigste Aufbackware, die bereits vor Stunden gebacken wurden und steinhart waren.
Ein Spiegelei war im Zimmerpreis von über 300 € nicht enthalten. Das Fachpersonal konnte lediglich Rührei aus der Tüte herrichten.
Die Zimmer sind völlig heruntergekommen.
In diesem Hotel wurde aber auch wirklich alles downgegradet.
Ich möchte jedem von einer Buchung dringend abraten.

La cadre et les espaces. La terrasse pour les couchers de soleil, le jardin, la terrasse pour les repas, la piscine. Tout invite à la détente outre l’accueil et le service au bar et au restaurant parfaits.

The Villa property is lovely, and the free parking is a significant bonus for those driving to Siena. (Note: Parking at the train station is 2 Euros/day, which is cheaper and faster than the bus. Take the escalator in the shopping mall from the station, turn left and enter the walled city in a few blocks.) The breakfast offers cheeses, meats, fruit, cereal, breads and pastries. Rooms are comfortable.

Cons:

We stayed in the annex, which has beds in a loft, seating below. Wi-Fi in the loft was poor and constantly disconnected; downstairs was fine. You can get scrambled eggs at breakfast, but service staff rarely mentions it; we discovered it when another table was served. Dining on the property is quite expensive, and there are no good options within walking distance

Ein besonderer Aufenthalt in einer charmanten alten Villa, für den man allerdings etwas mehr zahlen muss.
Pros:

Der Charme des alten Hauses ist sehr besonders. Das drumherum wird sehr gepflegt, der Pool ist toll. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Man hat seine Ruhe und direkt vor dem Haus gibt es eine Bushaltestelle. Man ist in 15 Minuten in Siena in der Stadt.

Cons:

Durch das Alter des Hauses und der Möbel roch es im Zimmer leicht muffig. Das Hotel gibt es nicht zum Schnapperpreis, aber dadurch, dass das Haus nur 21 Zimmer hat, muss der Preis wohl so kalkuliert werden. Die Getränkepreise fanden wir ziemlich hoch.
