Everything was fantastic
The breakfast
Breakfast was very good, the restaurant was cool during the unusually hot weather. The pool was excellent and you could find shade during most parts of the day except early afternoon. The bus stop at the bottom of the drive made it very easy to get into Siena.
Maybe a bit more choice of egg dishes at breakfast. Scrambled eggs were the only cooked items on offer, with or without a piece of crispy bacon. I don't know whether an omelette would be available but it would make an excellent option. Otherwise the range of items available at the breakfast buffet was excellent.
Amazing views and lovely staff, who were friendly and helpful. There was a bus stop at the bottom of the drive which took you directly into Siena, and the pool was a great place to relax and cool down.
The mezzanine rooms were OK, but the stairs to the bed were a bit unsafe, especially if you wanted to visit the toilet in the night - no handrail on one side and a funny shaped step at the top. The bathroom was a little dated, but the showers were good and it was well provided.
beautiful garden, view from terrace
Unfriendly atmosphere (with exception of the original receptionist)
Public areas all stifling - and music blaring in bar
Nos encanto sobre todo la atención del personal en general, pero especialmente de Sara que fue muy amable y paciente y ayudo en todo lo que le pedíamos. El lugar es muy bonito y estuvimos encantadas.
A beautiful spot, with a great pool and gardens, and fabulous terrace with incredible views over the Tuscan countryside. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and made us very comfortable. It’s a short distance outside Siena so quite easy for traveling. An Aperol Spritz in the gardens at sunset was a highlight.
Some of the facilities were a little dated - the shower was quite impractical and uncomfortable to use. We had some issues with the air conditioning but the staff were extremely helpful and worked hard even late at night to get it working for us.
Second time staying at the Villa though the last was many years ago. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and accommodating. Easy to get into town and you also get to experience beautiful views from the gardens and property. The pool and pool service were great and is such a nice touch.
I have only one complaint. There needs to be a full length mirror in the rooms. Some do have but the room i stayed in did not. Thats my only complaint.
The setting is Stunning with magnificent views
Easy access to Siena and Tuscany
People staying are nice
Breakfast is average to say the least. No variation
The Restaurant is nothing special and has the same Menu each night with a couple of Specials. Don't cater for Vegetarians especially. Ate their once on both times we have stopped there and found the Meals boring and bland
Steps down to Gardens and Pool really need a hand rail. My Wife slipped and badly sprained her ankle. Staff didn't seem to knowwhat to do in ths situation and don't have much by way of First Aid Kit
Car Park at bottom of hill which can be a slog
L’authenticité d’une maison ancienne voire patricienne italienne.
Salons très confortables.
Chambre grayer luxueuse.
La piscine est be et grande mais la fermeture est trop tôt (19h)
Delightful grounds and views
Restaurant closed on Sunday, but very restrictive on own drinks/food.
Not providing a corkscrew seemed petty! Staff looked a bit miserable
Tudo maravilhoso
Location and views were amazing.
Bathroom was slightly dated and rules about not brining in food.
Super gepflegte Anlage, sehr stilvolles Hotel
Bad / Dusche etwas veraltet
Nous venons depuis dix ans chaque année à la même époque mais désolés de ne pas avoir eu notre chambre habituelle l’an prochain je donnerai le numéro
Beautiful property with gorgeous views and gardens. Lovely staff - friendly and welcoming.
Great food. Nice pool.
Easy access to Siena.
Our room was in a separate place to the main villa but maybe because we had a dog?
Disappointed as was hoping to stay in a Tuscan villa. Maybe make it clearer what the options are?
Also the sleeping area was a mezzanine with the bathroom downstairs - again it would be good to tell people this in case they have accessibility problems.
The location was lovely, great views of the countryside, it was nice, quiet place to stay. It was easy to get the bus into town.
