La piscina y el entorno
La habitación, en la foto que se puede ver en Booking cuando haces la reserva parecía luminosa, era una habitación interior pues la ventana no se podía abrir. Fue el único alojamiento de mi viaje que no tiene el detalle de un agua de bienvenida, es cierto que el chico de recepción si te la ofrece al irte. La habitación solo tiene la luz general, nada de luz íntima o lampara de mesita. Tampoco en el baño hay más luz que la general. Lo siento, sni actitud me decepcionó, no me parece una buena opción para viajeros en solitario.
What a fabulous hotel stay! I felt like family, the food and service were wonderful and the food was lovely. My room was spotless and had all of the amenities I needed. The staff are truly outstanding and go above and beyond to ensure everyone is happy. The location is central to lo the local villages. Can’t wait to return.
We just wanted to give a big thank you to Pietro, one of the sons at La Renaie. We stayed in a house nearby and the gas and electricity were cut off from 2pm to 7pm so we had not option but to go out. It affected the whole hamlet of Pancole. On our return we found that we still had no power at 9pm so could not shower or drink water and it was such a hot day.
Although it was in the hands of the power company, and nothing to do with the hotel, Pietro kindly let us use a guest room to shower and he filled up all our bottles of water. He was really pleasant and helpful.
We liked the room we used and we are thinking that we may go back and stay there next time.
Die ruhige Lage
Der Tisch und auch der Boden der Terrasse wurden die ganzen 3 Tage nicht gereinigt, sodass man jedesmal Terrasse gehen schwarze Füße hatte

Das die Decken im Bad und Wände komisch waren, wie nachgezogen und runtergesetzt die Plastik zum Teil ‚offen‘
Das Hotel in Pancole war für uns der Ausgangspunkt verschiedener Tagesausflüge.
Das geräumige Zimmer hat uns sehr gefallen. Service, Frühstück und Abendessen (à la carte im Restaurant) waren hervorragend. Wer sich nach einem Tagesausflug gerne in die Ruhe der toskanischen Hügel zurückzieht, ist hier optimal untergebracht.
Der Parkplatz wird auch für das Lokal benutzt. Am Abend sollte man vor Öffnung des Lokals zurück sein oder erst spät in der Nacht ;)

Die Lage mit Blick in die Toskana. Frühstück super. Konnte im Freien genossen werden. Wunderschöner Garten und neuer Pool.
Tipps für Chianti Rundfahrt.
Auberge charmante. Une campagne environnante magnifique à 15 mn de San Gimignano. Une piscine agréable et un établissement bien entretenu. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme et l'absence de bruit la nuit et le personnel très gentil et l'écoute.
Das Hotel liegt in der kleinen Ortschaft Pancole, ganz von Natur umgeben. Einfach herrlich, der Zitronengarten lädt zum Verweilen ein und der Pool ist wahrscheinlich im Sommer auch sehr toll, bei unserem Aufenthalt wurde er allerdings erst aufgefüllt, so dass wir dies nicht bewerten können. Das Hotel hat Gottseidank auch ein gutes Restaurant, welches auch eine ansprechende Menükarte hat. Dies ist wichtig, da das Hotel ziemlich abgelegen liegt.
Die Zimmer sind relativ gross, wir hatten eins mit Balkon, und mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Unsere Fahrräder konnten sicher abgestellt werden und es gab auch Ladestationen für E-Bikes.
San Gimignano ist sehr einfach mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen, so erspart man sich die Parkplatzsuche.
