Rapport qualité prix correct… mais le tout mériterait une rénovation totale
Pros:

Hotel bien situé, avec un très bon petit déjeuner.

Cons:

L’immeuble est vieux et il mériterait une sérieuse rénovation car tout est de guingois : on a l’impression de se retrouver 40 ans en arrière. Il est de plus sonore… et encore, j’avais la chance de ne pas être sur la rue et son concert de klaxons.
Mais le prix est raisonnable, alors..

Overall acceptable, but in its present state not recommendable for a longer stay.
Pros:

Old-fashioned, well-located classic Italian 3 star (i.e. average) hotel, one of the many around Porta Nuova station. This onre however has only been partially refreshed (lamps and some furniture) some time ago but overall now is in need of a more thorough renovation. Rooms are of good size and quieter in the back, as always. Some have small balconies. Gloomy common space. Acceptable, standard breakfast, but coffee only from a machine. Very kind front desk people. A problem with the shower was solved very quickly.

Cons:

The bed was rather uneven, the cupboard very old and creaky, the bathroom oddly shaped and the water warm but certainly not hot. To be expected at these moderate prices. Parking is in the surrounding streets (difficult at times) or in the porta Nuova underground parking at 300M, very expensive.
