Terrible response by management
Pros:

My family and I booked two rooms at this hotel for two nights. After traveling in Europe for over a week and not having any hotel issues, we arrived late at night to find the air conditioner not working properly. We explained the situation to the person at the front desk, but were told the manager controlled the temperature and it had just recently become warmer in Venice. We were told that it would have to wait until the next day when the manager came in. We slept that night without ac and opened the windows, but the mosquitos were terrible, so we eventually closed the windows and slept little with no ac and the windows closed.

The next morning, we talked with the manager and he said he would fix it. After touring Venice the next day, we returned and were told by the manager that the problem was fixed, a technician had looked at the unit and that he had reduced the temperature control to go down to 19 degrees Cecil’s (66.5 Fahrenheit). We said that was fine and went on to supper.

When we got back from supper, one room was still hot. I talked with the person at the front desk, he contacted the Manager, and I was told there was nothing they could do about it. I asked to change rooms but none were available and then he informed me to open the windows. I told him about the mosquitos and, only then, was told there was a pull down screen in the windows. Even with the windows down, it was miserable.

At checkout the next morning, I told the manager that the issue was never fixed. He told me that it was and that the technician had looked at it the day before. I again told him it was not and that we had sweated down both nights. He went on to inform me that it was 20 degrees Celsius the night before outside and that should have been good enough to cool the room.

I have used TripAdvisor for more years than I can remember and had good and bad experiences , but I never written a bad review before. After spending a good deal of money at this hotel and sweating down the first night in both rooms, explaining to the hotel staff the situation and it still not being fixed in my room for the second night, the hotel basically took no responsibility and brushed me off.

I know issues can arise, such as this at any hotel, but the way the staff handle it is the key. The staff, and especially the manager, blew me off when I had a legitimate problem. I would not stay this hotel again after the way my issues were handled, and I strongly encourage anyone else to take your business elsewhere!

Toda vez que eu descrever uma cidade, estou dizendo algo sobre Veneza - Italo Calvino
Pros:

O Jacomo que nos recebeu na recepção foi muito simpático e atencioso! Era possível deixar as malas guardadas antes e após a estadia, o que facilitou bastante. O hotel fica próximo da estação de trem, o que facilita a caminhada com malas.

Cons:

O hotel fica um pouco afastado dos principais pontos de Veneza - no entanto, não foi um problema para a nossa hospedagem. Apenas comentando para aqueles que se importam com caminhadas mais longas. De qualquer forma, o caminho super tranquilo, fácil e seguro.

A booking-app error first sent me to the Santa Croce Boutique Hotel, where a snooty, racist receptionist made my arrival
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful people; breakfast was amazingly good!!! Location was close enough to the station, and pivotal landmarks - but also slightly further away enough to be quiet.

Séjour calme et pratique à Venise.

Très bon accueil.
Hôtel simple, sans ascenseur, mais très propre et très bien placé à proximité du parking et de la gare ferroviaire.

Pros:

Comodissimo dalla stazione e per muoversi in città. Stanze con tutto l'occorrente per un soggiorno gradevole. Colazione abbondante e buona. Personale molto gentile e disponibile per tutte le esigenze.

Cons:

La struttura ha le stanze divise in più edifici: non è un problema, ma sarebbe stato meglio saperlo prima.
