Wonderful staff and super location
Pros:

We loved our 9 day stay here. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly- especially Albie! The rooms were cleaned daily and the room, while simple, had everything we needed. The location of Hotel Boccaccio was also superb. We went on several day trips to escape the summer heat and it was fantastic being able to walk 5 mins to Santa Maria Novella. It was also just a short walk to the Duomo and the centre of Florence.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I next come to Florence.

Cons:

The only small thing was the choice of breakfast. As we were stayed for quite a while- it did become a little repetitive but this is just a minor issue and did not impact our stay.

La vicinanza alla stazione e al centro di firenze

Cons:

Rumorosa e per la clientela e per il personale. Una perdita in bagno all’altezza del lavandino. Un’accoglienza alla reception e la mattina a colazione quasi offensiva. Una offerta a colazione tra le più scarse mai viste.

Gute Lage
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut, da es direkt am Hauptbahnhof gelegen ist und man innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum sein konnte.
Die Größe des Zimmers war für 2 Personen auch mehr als genug und es gab einen Minikühlschrank und eine Klimaanlage; perfekt bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen! Das Personal war auch sehr nett und entgegenkommend.

Cons:

Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war leider sehr schwach. Es hat zum Duschen zwar gereicht, aber es hätte definitiv stärker sein können. Zudem gab es im Bad leider auch keine Haken oder ähnliches um die Handtücher aufzuhängen. Es gab nur eines für ein kleines Handtuch, aber keine für die großen Handtücher.
Die Wände zu den anderen Zimmern und zum Gang waren recht dünn und hellhörig, aber nachts beim Schlafen gab es dann zum Glück keine Probleme.
Was mich leider sehr gestört hat, war, dass der Holzdielenboden im Zimmer sehr glatt und somit sehr rutschig war. Mein Freund und ich wären des öfteren ausgerutscht und hätten uns verletzt, wenn wir uns im letzten Moment nicht aufgefangen hätten.

Florence stay
Pros:

The staff at Hotel Boccaccio were some of the nicest people we came across in our travels! Every single one of them went out of their way to smile, say hi, and ask if they could help in anyway. They made recommendations of places to tour, things to eat and how best to get there. They stored our luggage for us after checking out in a secure area so we could continue to tour Florence. When our train was delayed they turned on the lights and a/c in the breakfast area so we could relax comfortably while we waited. They were the absolute nicest people and the hotel was great!
