Pros:

L'hotel si trova in una posizione perfetta per visitare i luoghi più importanti della città. La gentilezza del personale, la ricca colazione e la pulizia sono altri punti a favore. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è stato ottimo. Essendo un palazzo storico non c è ascensore e per salire ci sono scale un po" ripide, lo sapevamo e non è stato un problema.

Hotel Mercurio is a special place to stay.
Pros:

This hotel is stunning and the people working at the hotel are super kind and hospitable. They have a wonderful breakfast spread and a great appetizer hour if you select that option when you book. Anyone wanting a unique Venetian experience should book here. My group were all women and we all felt safe and taken care of. There are stairs but the staff took care off all of our bags. The room was a bit small but 100% worth the stay. The hotel is also clean. Again, can’t emphasize enough how kind all the staff were. Fantastic!!

What disappointed us was that we asked the receptionist to book a water taxi for us. She said she would message them on WhatsApp, but then we never heard anything back. It felt like she wasn’t really willing to help us arrange the taxi.

Later, when we returned to the hotel shortly before check-out, another receptionist told us that it wasn’t possible because the water level was too high.

Couldn’t someone have informed us about this earlier so we could have looked for other transportation options?

Belle découverte de Venise, à prix abordable compte tenu de l'emplacement.
Pros:

Points positifs, le petit déjeuner très copieux, la très grande gentillesse du personnel de la salle à manger et la disponibilité de l'accueil (nous n'avons pas chercher à changer de chambre ni n'avons rouspété sur l'étroitesse de la chambre). Lit confortable, chambre silencieuse quand la climatisation s'éteint. Très bon emplacement, proche de la place Saint-Marc et du Grand Canal. Le prix était de fait raisonnable pour un mois de juin, 1216€ pour 6 nuits pour 2, petit-déjeuner et taxes de séjour compris.

Cons:

Chambre "double économique", au troisième étage, minuscule de 10-11 m2 maximum, alors que sur Booking cette chambre est annoncée comme faisant 15 m2. La pièce sur le plan d'évacuation incendie du couloir figure sous le vocable "spogliatoio", c'est à dire "vestiaire ou débarras" ! Si on ajoute le petit couloir et l'étroite salle de bain (douche + bidet + WC + lavabo), on doit effectivement être à 15 m2... Pièce sous les toits avec climatisation pas très silencieuse. Voilà pour les points négatifs.
