Clean, Convenient, and So Welcoming
Pros:

The location of this place is absolutely perfect and incredibly convenient. I was thoroughly impressed by how spotless and clean everything was throughout my entire stay. Best of all, the staff is super kind and went completely out of their way to make me feel welcome. I highly recommend it!

Loistava sijainti, josta lyhyt ja helppo kävelymatka tärkeimpiin nähtävyyksiin. Erittäin ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Huone oli tilava ja siisti.

Cons:

Hotellilla on hyvin pieni hissi, joka lähtee 1. kerroksesta - laukut pitää kantaa sinne pohjakerroksesta, noin 30 askelmaa, Tämä hotelli ei siis sovi liikuntarajoitteisille.

Pros:

The location could not be better! A 2 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio, 5 minutes to the Uffizi Gallery, 10 minutes maximum to the Duomo! The staff are wonderful and treat everyone like family. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are basic but sparkling clean and functional, same with the bathrooms. Bear in mind, this would not be suitable for people with mobility issues as there are stairs up to the tiny lift. Not a negative, people just need to be aware.

Cons:

Literally nothing.

Nice hotel in the middle of where you want to be, confortable.
Pros:

Location Location. It's as close as you can get, and it is off a main pedestrian lane. View of the Arno River. Helpful staff, clean .

Cons:

you have to be able to walk up a set of stairs, to access a narrow elevator, but that is common in older buildings. It would be more of a challenge if you can't walk, climb or go down stairs i.e. not for invalids. But for the rest of us, no issue. Elevator only accommodates 2 persons.

Pros:

The staff are wonderful. In particular, Monti is simply fantastic. Not only is he incredibly helpful, with excellent suggestions for eateries etc, but is the most warm and welcoming of people. A ray of joy. And a real friend. Bravo,Monti, Grazie Mille!

Weekend stay at Hotel Alessandra Florence
Pros:

Staff excellent and very tolerant of our dreadful Italian, location brilliant and room had all we needed (there is never a kettle) but tea and breakfast charges very reasonable for a central city location.

Cons:

Nothing to say, all very good.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero gradevole in questa struttura che si trova all'interno di un palazzo storico, in posizione strategica per i principali siti artistici. La camera è davvero confortevole e silenziosa. Lo staff si è dimostrato sempre disponibile e cortese, la pulizia impeccabile, la colazione ricca e variegata. Pros:

I know you always hear how friendly and helpful staff are, but in this case we cannot over stress this point. They where fun and beyond helpful. . Room 27 was a suite of huge rooms. There is a view of the Arno from each room and the terrace. It was very quiet. Location was the perfect spot to access attractions on both sides of the river.

Excellent hotel with a charming rooftop terrace.
Pros:

We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Hotel Alessandra! From the wonderful location to the helpful, friendly staff to the delicious breakfasts, we would highly recommend the hotel.

Cons:

A larger sign would be helpful, especially because the numbers don’t seem to be consistent on either side of the street. We missed the entrance, not just once, but twice. 😊
