The age and interesting history of the (small ) building with character. Good quiet location close to Station and Duomo. Nicely decorated.

Cons:

No lift but wasn't too difficult to access room. Found mattress a little uncomfortable.

Lucques, est une etape incontournable loin de la foule de Florence et de Pise, un ilot de fraicheur.
Pros:

Accès à 15mn à pied de la Gare, l'hotel est proche du centre ville historique, l'environnement est calme. l'hotel est tres agréable, confortable, encore une belle experience en Toscane. Claudia à la reception fait l'effort de parler français et elle est de bon conseil sur les restaurants locaux.

Excellent place to stay in Lucca
Pros:

Lovely people, excellent position. Place to sit outside with complementary nibbles and juice is fantastic. Breakfast is excellent.

Cons:

Nothing bad just be aware the room is small, or more precisely the bathroom is very small.
