Calm and sophisticated
Pros:

Elegant hotel in an unbeatable location, right in the heart of Paris yet peaceful and sophisticated. Modern in design, but still with touches of old retained.
Cozy (small) rooms, but spotless clean. Comfortable bed, solid bed linens.
- Rooms facing the interior courtyard are very quiet.
- Rooms facing the street are not much so.
Bathrooms are well laid-out given the size. Water pressure is great, bath curtain could be a glass, bathroom amenities are so-so.
The front desk staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Ready with recommendations and advice.

Cons:

Tiny rooms, a problem which exists in most hotels in Paris, but is becoming old & boring. We booked larger rooms on purpose, but still in vain. Amount of wardrobe space is minimal and no proper space for luggage.
Strange, old fashioned elevator. Slightly scary.

Wonderful choice.
Pros:

Hotel was excellent. Centrally located, convenient to many attractions that I like, kept spotless and the staff were great. Breakfast also excellent. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Not much to add, all great.
