Un excellent séjour !
Tout était parfait. L'emplacement était idéal pour mes déplacements, c'était très pratique, calme et chaleureux. Un immense merci pour la possibilité de laisser nos bagages avant l'heure du check-in : voyageant à pied, cela nous a énormément soulagés !
La chambre était impeccable, propre et bien rangée, avec un lit très confortable, un grand écran de télévision et un petit canapé très cosy.
Le seul tout petit bémol concerne le bruit du réfrigérateur et de la climatisation. Étant assez sensible au bruit, cela m'a un peu empêchée de dormir. C'est peut-être tout à fait normal pour ce type d'appareils, mais si un réglage ou une amélioration est possible pour l'avenir, ce serait un vrai plus pour les clients au sommeil léger.
En tout cas, un grand merci pour ce superbe séjour, nous avons adoré !

A very expensive way to enjoy a great location but my reservation was very last minute.
Pros:

The location! Central to sights, cafes, shopping, the location is incredible! Also the head maître d’hôtel was such a lovely and helpful gentleman. The room was clean and bed comfortable.

Cons:

The smallest hotel room I’ve stayed in Paris for the price range. I found the shower head situated at knee level very frustrating, it couldn’t be raised higher. The bath shower will be a problem for people with mobility issues. Had to ask concierge for toilet paper and tissues. The drinking glass in room was full of clear slime in the bottom.
The lady receptionist was cold.

Double Connecting Rooms #402 and #403

The Hotel Manager, Laurent. Laurent is arrogant and a definite narcissist (he’s right, you’re wrong, and he simply DOES NOT care).

I was unhappy with my room and when the Hotel Manager arrived in the lobby, he did not introduce himself (he just looked at me). I asked if he was the Hotel Manager and his reply…‘Yes, and it’s my day off’.

I booked the ‘Double Connecting Room’. This is NOT a connecting room similar to hotels in the United States. The Hotel Elixir has a ‘key controlled door’ in the hallway that opens to a roughly 3’ x 3’ area (this is the connecting part). Once you stand in this 3’ x 3’ area, you have two key controlled guest room doors…(2-double rooms). I paid extra for the connecting rooms and when my son asked if we could switch to 2-regular rooms at a much lower daily rate Laurent’s response was ‘sure, but you’ll be paying the same price as the connecting room’.

We stayed two nights. If you want a hotel with a narcissistic Hotel Manager – this is the place for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere!

Pros:

Wide room and confortable.
Frigobar should be better (it switch off when you leave the room) and air conditioning should be more powerful compared to room dimensions.

Pros:

Hotel ELIXIR located close to cafes and restaurants. Close to Notre Dame and Louvre. Easy to walk places or catch bus or train. Pleasant staff and clean and tidy facilities

Nice gem in the heart of the Paris
Pros:

I had been in Normandy for a week and had a Friday night to kill in Paris before flying out. I was looking for a place that was relatively cheap, in the heart of town, and close to the RER B rail line, so I would have a straight shot to CDG in the morning. This is steps away from the Châtelet stop, within walking distance or a short Metro ride from most places you would want to go, so it fit the bill nicely, and honestly I wasn't expecting very much.

I was very pleasantly surprised. It's obviously been recently renovated, so the room was stylish and spotless, and it had a modern shower. It even had enough outlets! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Even though it's in the heart of an *extremely* busy area, it's off on the side street, so the noise wasn't too bad.

My plan to take the train in the morning fell through because of construction or a strike of something (bienvenue à Paris!), but the little side street was a very convenient place to catch an Uber.
