Excellent location in the heart of Paris, very close to the metro and within walking distance to many attractions, cafes and restaurants. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always helpful throughout the stay. The room was comfortable and the hotel had a nice Parisian atmosphere.

The location of this hotel is excellent, surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our experience with the Chief of Reception left such a negative impression that I would encourage others to consider nearby alternatives before booking.

In early March, about a month before our original stay, new UK passport requirements forced our family to change travel plans for a trip with our 90-year-old father. When attempting to adjust our reservations, I discovered that one of the two bookings had accidentally been made as non-refundable. I contacted the hotel directly and was told to work through Expedia. Expedia’s customer service was consistently helpful and tried multiple times to assist, but each request was denied by the hotel’s Chief of Reception.

Although we had already moved our second reservation to May and were still planning to stay at the same hotel, we were forced to make an entirely new booking for my father. Over the following weeks, Expedia continued trying to help resolve the issue, but every request to either transfer the unused booking dates or provide any refund was refused.

What made the situation especially disappointing was the complete lack of compassion, flexibility, or customer care shown by the Chief of Reception. While I understand that booking errors happen and policies exist, there was no willingness to work toward a reasonable solution despite the circumstances and despite the fact that we remained paying guests at the property one month later.

It is unfortunate because the hotel itself is in a fantastic location and the rest of the staff were lovely. However, one individual’s poor attitude and approach to customer service significantly affected what should have been a memorable family trip.

Very nice old hotel in a great location, very comfortable to explore Paris from. Lot's of restaurants near by. We loved the kettle and coffee sachets in the room (although cream capsules would have been a nice edition). We could leave our bags there before check in and after check out.

Not far from centre and staff are friendly. Great for Just drop off luggage and go.
