Académie Hôtel Saint Germain

Cladirea in schimb, pe care de romantica pare, pe atat de groaznica este. Holuri de un metru patrat, abia daca ai loc pe ele, tavanele (atat pe hol, cat si in camera) extrem de joase - daca suferiti de claustrofobie, NU VA RECOMAND. Camerele exagerat de mici, decorate ca la circ (am apreciat stilul baroc, deci am luat cu buna stiinta aceasta cazare cu acest design, dar live a fost un circ de multe obiecte combinate care PAREAU din aceeasi epoca, dar era un dezastru ieftin), baia arata ca una de spital.
Patul dublu era compus din 2 saltele pentru cate o persoana - lipite - astfel ca in timpul noptii ele se deplasau, simteai diferenta de inaltime dintre o saltea si cealalta... foarte neplacut.

AM PLATIT 453 EURO PE NOAPTE PENTRU O CAMERA ABSOLUT GROAZNIC DE INCONFORTABILA.
Si jur ca daca pretul era de 300 euro, nu aveam nicio reclamatie - era value for money.
Dar la acest pret , conditiile sunt inacceptabile.

Sfatuiesc conducerea hotelului sa revizuiasca preturile, astfel incat sa fie realiste si echilibrate cu aceasta cazare.

The first night our AC didn’t work and they were unable to fix it. Unfortunately did not sleep much at all that evening. That room was very small as well. The upgrade the following night was great - suggest booking the bigger room if more space is what you would like!

Unbelievable that NOTHING was done when we arrived with NO air conditioning in our room. During our entire stay we couldn't spend any time in our room due to the extreme heat. Unable to sleep at night and no where to go!! NO MANAGER ANYWHERE! New guests arriving and being put into air conditioned rooms while we suffered. Absolutely WRONG!!! And when we checked out on Monday, there STILL WAS NO MANAGER. I've been in the hotel business for over 20 years and never would a guest of mine been treated with no thought what so ever. Yes, the front desk manager (she should get a raise!) offered to comp our measly incidentals because that's all her director offered. You should be ashamed.

Non funzionava l’aria condizionata in camera!

They did not have AC in the room and didn’t tell us until after we were in our room. They couldn’t provide a room with AC and could not make a decision on a refund. The hotel was without AC for 3 days according to lobby guests (which had AC). They should have been upfront on the situation and offered a refund. They tried to tell us it was temporary, but then admitted that it wouldn’t be resolved until after our checkout date. We felt scammed. We require AC and specifically book for this amenity. We left. Booking was no help with a resolution at the time, even though they too talked directly with the hotel. Very disappointed.

There is works and repair going on during the stay not good looking

The room is small. Much smaller than appears in the pictures. In fact I would say tiny. It's essentially a room with a double bed, and there are no surfaces to place a bag. You can touch the walls from the bed on all sides. There is also a very big (72"?) TV on the wall opposite the bed which doesn't show in the room pictures. It's disproportionately huge and wider than the bed. Makes the room feel a lot smaller and not watchable- on account of the enormous size.
The room was tidy, and cleanliness was fair but there is a lot of room for improvement, considering the price. Walls were marked, dust, smeared surfaces. The shower had hot water but you couldn't make it cooler as the dial slowly reverted to 40 degrees. The shower could be modernised. It felt, icky.

The room was incredibly small - we had to store luggage in the shower stall!
