As advertised
The bigger room was true to size with proper AC in the hottest week of Summer.
Housekeeping, Location, elevator, and street noise.
The hotel reception and bar area was nice and implied a good stay, as well as well situated close to the station.
The rooms were the biggest disappointment. I booked a Junior Suite for three people and even emailed the hotel in advance to confirm it would be suitable. I was assured it would be, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
The room simply wasn't large enough to comfortably accommodate three people. The sofa bed looked heavily worn and resembled a prison bed, and it wasn't even made up with sheets when we arrived. The room also felt like it was in the loft of the hotel, with the bath/shower positioned under the sloping roof. Anyone of average height had to crouch just to shower without hitting their head.
Cleanliness was also an issue. When we entered the room, there were blood stains on the bathroom floor, which was unacceptable.
We asked to be moved, and the manager told us another room would be available the following day. However, when we checked back, we were told the hotel was fully booked and that no alternative room could be offered. Beyond saying there was "nothing we could do," no effort was made to apologise in a meaningful way or offer any gesture of goodwill.
The hotel rooms would maybe be adequate for two people, but it certainly wasn't suitable for three, despite the hotel's assurances. If you're planning a stay for three and want to be comfortable, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
The only real positive was the location, as it's very close to the station.
