Pros:

The staff is very friendly and tried their best despite the substandard infrastructure

Cons:

For a so-called 4-star hotel, the WiFi in the rooms was the absolute worse which made working extremely difficult. The staff tried their best to resolve it but I also understand from them that it is the management that is being cheap and does not want to upgrade the network! Bloody ridiculous

Les équipements défaillants (lumières, sèches-serviettes, climatisation), les moisissures dans la douches, les verrous de portes cassé et non réparés, les poussières non faites en hauteur, les paumeaux de douches plein de calcaire et de moisi.

Overpriced but good location
Pros:

Great location! Close to the metro, minutes from the Seine, countless shops and restaurants. The breakfast was basic but good quality. Staff all friendly and helpful (though some had very limited English so need to be mindful of this).

Cons:

The cost was unreasonable - the hotel and rooms are old, dated, and tiny. The bathroom was appalling - broken toilet seat, a shower that was smaller than a phone box and you had to step down into. Paying $500 AUD a night for this is outrageous.

Hotellet ligger fuldstændig perfekt i centrum af Paris. Du kan gå til alt. Der var ingen larm på vores værelse fra gaden. Der var en meget lille elevator. Rengøringen var god. Der var pænt og rent på hotellet. Personalet var søde og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var ganske fin. De havde dog lidt udfordringer med at få fyldt buffeten op til gæsterne.

Cons:

Værelset var lidt slidt, men rent og pænt. Der var en aircondition på værelset, man ikke selv kunne slukke eller justere på. Den kørte og larmede. Der var intet køleskab på værelset og der blev ikke fyldt op af drikkevarer efter ankomst. Værelset havde ingen udsigt. Vi kiggede ud i en lysskakt med et maleri på væggen.

Walking distance to a lot of tourist spots and malls
Pros:

It’s very close to a lot of tourist destinations like the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc., which you can reach on foot.

The subway station is also very close and there are many restaurants, bars and shops around, so it’s easy to find a place to buy souvenirs or eat out.

The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was upgraded— I don’t know why but that made me very happy because my room had a nice view.

The room and other facilities are clean and there is air conditioning.

The pillow in my room was soft and fluffy. It was very comfortable.

The breakfast was good. There were so many choices. I think 19 euros for a breakfast is worth it. I have been to many hotels in France and usually breakfast price range is from 15-20 euros.

If you have a limited time in Paris but you wanna see a lot of stuff or do a lot of things, I recommend staying here.

Cons:

The wifi was slow.

The room is not soundproof very well so you can hear the people on the street, which I think some people wouldn’t like because the location of this hotel is very lively at night.

So, if you are a sensitive sleeper or you like peace and quiet, I don’t think you would like this hotel.
