Pros:

Great location in the centre of London, close to Oxford Road and Hyde Park. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Everywhere was clean. Beds were comfortable and the showers were hot and powerful. Would happily stay there again.

Cons:

The decor was a bit dated, but you're paying for the location really. It wasn't a problem for us but there are no lifts at the hotel, just narrow staircases so best be mindful with large, heavy luggage

The room is very small with the noise from the main room. The area was chaotic with police officers and helicopters on air to control the chaos at the area

Excellent location, friendly staff, good price - but loud and hard to navigate
Pros:

The location was excellent - very close to lots of great food options, right at the edge of Hyde Park and close to transportation options. Busy, lots of foot traffic, easy to get around. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very good price!

Cons:

No closets or drawers in the room. Cramped, narrow stairs to get to every room - including odd "one-off" stairs in the middle of the hallway. It made navigating really difficult for my mother. I would recommend against booking a room here for anyone with mobility issues or trouble navigating stairs or clumsy people. Also, we booked the "family room" which ended up being in the basement, which was hot and stuffy. When we opened the windows, we were constantly hearing LOUD honking - I think because of the world cup - but also we heard a lot of banging of the laundry bags being thrown down the stairs in the night/evening.
