I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Pros:

A beautiful historic building, convenient parking, and interestingly designed interiors. Unfortunately, when placed in incompetent hands, such potential inevitably turns into a disaster—or into the typically Italian attitude of “va bene così,” meaning “it’s fine as it is; that will do.”

With an outside temperature of 35°C, the air conditioning in the room was practically useless. Even when set to 10°C, it was impossible to sleep comfortably. The same problem existed throughout the entire hotel.

The breakfast was extremely poor. Frankly, it is almost unbelievable that a hotel in such a famous location serves guests such a limited selection of food. It was little more than bread and water.

Unfortunately, my overall impression is that the staff smile at you, but they simply do not care whether you ever come back. That level of indifference overshadows everything else.

Old world charm at its best
Pros:

A really lovely hotel located in the heart of town. We got an upgrade to a corner room which was massive. Great views to the snow capped mountains in the distance and a nice breakfast. Didn't eat dinner here so cannot comment.
One of the nicer hotels we stayed at in Northern Italy.
