The room was clean. The location was good. They let me leave my luggage for collection later which was nice.
This was a very expensive option for a small single and very uncomfortable room. There was a major problem with the ventilation system and the room was extremely hot. When I initially consulted the front desk about this they made no apology but just pointed to a sign they have posted all around the place as if that was enough to cover them. But the notice is inaccurate and misleading. It suggests that only if the heating/air con. is switched on will there be a problem. Mine was switched off and the room was still like a sauna. I could see that other guests were struggling with this situation as had their windows and doors wide open but this clearly made no difference. This hotel further misleads its customers by not declaring this situation from the outset before customers make their booking. It amounts to a poor and cynical approach to hospitality.
