Management-Totalausfall: Willkür, Schrankzimmer, Kasernenfrühstück – nie wieder!
Pros:

Der Parkhaus-Mitarbeiter, der abends 15 Minuten auf uns gewartet hat – der einzige Mensch im Dunstkreis dieses Hotels, der mitgedacht hat.

Cons:

Management-Totalausfall. Die Zimmer sind winzig und vor allem so niedrig, dass man sich mit 1,87 m den Kopf am Kronleuchter stößt – mein 2-m-Sohn passte nicht einmal unter die Dusche, im Bad ist die Decke noch tiefer. Die Fenster liegen direkt gegenüber den Fenstern anderer Zimmer, Abstand 1–2 Meter: Privatsphäre wie im Schaufenster des Rotlichtviertels. Das Frühstück ist dürftig, ständig fehlt etwas – und serviert wird nur nach Anmeldung am Vortag, zu einem fixen Termin auf 15 Minuten genau. Urlaub mit Wecker, wie in der Kaserne. Einen Parkplatz gibt es de facto nicht (selbst ein Opel Corsa ist grenzwertig); stattdessen wird man an ein dubioses Valet-Parking vermittelt: nur Barzahlung, keine Belege, keine Garantien. Auto ans Hotel bestellt: anderthalb Stunden Wartezeit, planloses Personal – und um 20:45 Uhr der Anruf, das Parkhaus schließe um 21 Uhr. Davon hatte uns nie jemand erzählt; wir mussten eine Veranstaltung in einer anderen Stadt abbrechen. Beim Check-out weigerte sich der Manager grundlos, 500-Euro-Scheine anzunehmen – Originalton: „Das habe ich so entschieden, und ich will mit Ihnen nicht diskutieren." Vier Zimmer, vier Nächte – nie wieder.

Pros:

The hotel is situated in an ideal location for sightseeing. Our canal view room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Front desk staff members were friendly. We would return to this hotel again.

The most beautiful hotel in the centre of the city
Pros:

The best experience. The location of the hotel is perfect. In a very charming part of Amsterdam. The room is so beautifully decorated. And clean and the size is good. The service is very friendly . Highly recommended.

Gorgeous hotel with feline ambassadors
Pros:

A simply lovely boutique hotel - beautiful decor, welcoming staff and adorable cat ambassadors Wimmel and Glacier. Well located for exploring. Each room is quirky and different, and you can also partake in complimentary snacks and hot drinks in a cosy lounge. We treated ourselves to an Estherea experience and it was worth thd cost.

Greatly location, fun kitschy interior, friendly staff.
Pros:

The location is in the Nine Streets District, on the Singel Canal, and therefore convenient for restaurants, shopping, walking, and sightseeing. The interior was extravagant, flowery, with chandeliers, and fun to see. There are two elevators and AC. The breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. I recommend a room with a canal view if available.

Cons:

This is an upscale area but the immediate neighborhood was a little seedy. Not dangerous, but there was some graffiti on nearby buildings and a trashy area a few doors down. The hotel is not responsible for this and I saw other hotels with similar problems. It is the nature of Amsterdam.

Beautiful hotel with kind staff members
Pros:

Really lovely hotel, we had 2 rooms and enjoyed seeing the different decor. The lobby cats were a hit with our children. The complimentary snacks and beverages were a nice treat.

En general estuvo muy buena mi estadía en el hotel.
Pros:

La decoración del hotel nos gustó muchísimo, todo muy hermoso. La habitación era pequeña pero muy hermosa.

Cons:

Me hubiera gustado que algún integrante del personal hubiese hablado en español. También que el café que brindan en la recepción, que está muy bueno que lo brinden, pero solía salir demasiado aguado y sin sabor.

Pros:

Perfect location to shops, cafes and canals. The breakfast was perfect. We loved the complimentary coffee station and treats in the welcome area. We used the car service through the hotel for pick up/drop off to airport and it was so convenient and the drivers were so kind.
