It's a romantic, traditional, classic and very pretty hotel in the heart of Singel. 9 Streets is within walking distance. There are plenty of eating places around.
I got the very pretty pink and sage green room. Perfect for my birthday. I also love the lounge area and the free coffee, tea and sweet snacks.
The layout of the bathroom, especially the shower, is a bit tricky. I did get two sinks and they're pink which is my favorite color.

Adorable hotel. Decor was vey whimsical and we loved the Scottish fold cats! Always had snacks and flavored water on hand in lobby.
Did not have a canal view and those rooms seemed a bit nicer. I should have tried to request that myself.
Excellent location. Easily the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. Meticulous attention to detail - you can just tell a woman thought of all the extra little things. From the wallpapers, to the fabrics, the bathroom amenities, the bespoke room scent, the chandeliers, even the resident cats - perfection!
The room was just gorgeous, beautiful decorated, lovely view of the canal. The hotel had a very romantic feel to it with lots of spaces to enjoy a coffee or read.

Si je devais vraiment trouver quelque chose je dirais :
- La baignoire était un peu petite
- En ouvrant la fenêtre de la chambre nous tombons en vis à vis très proche avec d'autres chambres

The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are clean, cozy, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
After forgetting an item in my room, I contacted the hotel to arrange its return and even paid for the shipping costs. However, getting any updates has been extremely frustrating. I have had to send numerous emails and follow-up messages because they rarely respond, and despite all my efforts and having already paid for the shipment, I am still waiting for my item to be sent.
It is a real shame that such a lovely hotel is let down by such poor customer service. I would have expected a much more professional and efficient approach, especially when dealing with a simple request like this. The hotel itself is lovely, but the lack of communication and follow-through has significantly affected my overall experience.
