Rooms are clean and the hotel has a charming, friendly feel

Cons:
Rooms and especially bathrooms are frequently described as very small/cramped

Categories

Cleanliness
9
Multiple reviews explicitly praise cleanliness and note the rooms are clean ('Clean', 'propreté', 'limpeza').
Service
9.5
Service is repeatedly described as very helpful, friendly and accommodating (reception helpful with apps, staff praised, 'Nota 10 para os funcionários').
Location
9.6
Location is frequently highlighted as excellent and central, close to metro, river and restaurants ('very good location', 'mitten in der Stadt', 'emplacement').
Room Quality
6.8
Numerous comments mention very small rooms and especially tiny bathrooms and cramped layouts; acceptable for short stays but limited space is a clear negative.
Amenities
9
Amenities like air conditioning are noted positively; a small elevator exists (sometimes described as very small/micro), so facilities are basic but functional.
Value for Money
9
Mixed signals in reviews (some say hotel exceeded expectations, one gives staff 10 but installations 5); overall perceived as good value given location and service.
Food and Beverage
6.5
Breakfast and F&B receive repeated criticism (dry pastries, repetitive selection, poor cappuccino from machine); F&B quality is a common downside.
Overall Experience
9.4
Overall sentiment is positive—charming hotel, friendly atmosphere, many guests recommend it and report a great stay despite small rooms.

Pros:

I liked the location, the room.

Cons:

I could hear noise from another room (upstair), maybe isolation could be improved
I would have liked to have a desk where I could work with my laptop (remove the TV from the current desk)

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was great.

Cons:

It would benefit from a bar of an evening. Just so you didn’t need to leave the property if you didn’t want to.
