Cons:

Cijena ne opravdava, niti uslugu smještaja, niti udobnost. Ovo se ne može zvati Hotelom, nego nekakav pansion. Osim lijepih i retuširanih sluka, stvarnost je skroz druga. Hotel je u nekakvoj renovaciji, u sobama se čuje buka, a tapet u sobama mije promijenjen od doba Napoleona. Stepenište uske i strme tako da se trebati vezati konopom da ne padnete. Lift više za kućne ljubimce i ruksak nego za osobe. Ljubatnost osoblja koji nas pozdrave ujutro sa Dobar dan je manje od ljubaznosti da za navedeni smještaj izdvojimo 243 eura za noć. Katastrofa.

We enjoyed the location and the rooms were adequate.
Pros:

The location was very good with lots of shops and restaurants very near, also buses and metro and the area felt very safe. The rooms were clean with a modern bathroom and shower.

Cons:

Lots of stairs - there was a small elevator but you had to go up stairs just to get to the elevator or even to get to reception. This is fine for younger people who have absolutely no issues with doing a lot of stairs. Also, the price for the breakfast was ridiculous for what you received and had to eat in the cramped area next to reception - go out to one of the nearby restaurants for breakfast.

Location is good

Cons:

Hotel is very old and shabby. Rooms small and double bed is small too for 2 people. There were scaffoldings on the building and it didn’t add any positive feelings. The hotel could have at least offered a small discount for the inconvenience. We paid 600 euro for 2 nights in this really poor hotel. Don’t recommend at all.

This hotel made my Paris stay all the more enjoyable. Very happy I booked this place.
Pros:

Very well located. Spotlessly clean. Size as advertised. Friendly concierge. A view of the tip of the Eiffel Tower (photo attached) which I enjoyed waking up to and going to sleep to. Also as a female solo traveller, I felt safe. The area outside was busy and the supermarket next door super convenient!

I would recommend and book again in a heartbeat.

Cons:

I want to say nothing. As this may just be personal to me, but I have a fear of lifts (and this one was particularly small). And so climbing the 5 stories for a few days, combined with all the Paris walking, reignited and aggravated my knee pain from a previous injury. But that’s my fault as I had insisted on a view and didn’t take the lift! Other than that, nothing at all. I loved it.

Revisiting a Favorite Parisian Hotel
Pros:

The location was exceptional as it was close to the Eiffel Tower with easy access to other sites. Rue Cler with its many restaurants and food markets is only a block away. We stayed at Royal Phare several years ago and booked it again because of our positive experience. We were pleasantly surprised by some thoughtful additions to the room.

Cons:

Absolutely not a problem for us, but some may find the elevator quite small. That being said, we love that there is an elevator!
