An unexpected gem
Pros:

The room was an adequate size but clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was piping hot, the air conditioning excellent, the double glazing reduced the outside noise to virtually zero.
The staff were all cheerful and helpful.
The breakfast was excellent value.
Ideally located for the Metro, and thus access to all of Paris.

Cons:

We had no complaints.
