Booked with Jet2 for 4 nights. Arrived 11am and we paid 15 Euros to get into our room early. Good sized family room for 3 of us. Hotel clean and patio doors keep any outside noise out. All inclusive isn’t what I would call it. The drinks menu is awful and VERY limited. The cocktails are disgusting premixed syrup with juice added or water. Wine is watered downs One was suppose to have lemonade and when I said it’s made with water she replied we aren’t allowed to use 7up anymore in our cocktails. The cups are small and full of ice and 3/4 full. So you’ve drunk it before you get back to your sunbed. Only 2 drinks each so 3 of us meant 2 had to go to bar. Pool at food is pizza , awful burgers and chips with salad. Their only restaurant is buffet and you only get coffee at breakfast !!! How can you not have coffee at lunch or dinner, they turn the machines off. Ridiculous to not have coffee available. We ended up having to pay for drinks. An all inclusive that isn’t all inclusive Food basic and always cold. Pizza were good that’s all we ate. It’s a 3 star NO WAY a 4 star. Hotel is kept clean all over so well done to housekeeping. 5 minute walk to bars so location is good.
Visited in May for few nights away with friends, lovely hotel and rooms, however the air con did not work, the lifts need sorting out it takes ages getting to the floor you need to be on. Be aware all inclusive drinks do not include ice cream and lollies, and a few alcoholic drinks which you have to pay for and faff about going to reception to pay. Food fair choice in restaurant plenty of choice of salad fresh fruit and cakes
Tv does not work and that was in a few of the rooms, for all inclusive for 4 star should have have better choice of hot meals,
Don’t provide towels, the pool area is nice minimal food at lunch
Pro's.
The hotels condition was OK.
The location was fine, I checked it out before booking. We didn't hear any noisy roads on our side of the hotel.
The room was OK as was the cleaning. We didn't find the rooms too noisy or try the air con.
The pool area was fine and we never had a problem getting sunbeds, there is no option to hire pool towels.
The food was OK in the restaurant although I had to use the microwave a lot to warm it up. The variety was ok for a week, you'd probably struggle for 2 weeks. The salad etc was fine. The pool bar was repetitive with chips, pizza and burgers the norm.
Cons.
It's €15 for a pre-2pm check in and they won't give you your wristbands until you've checked in even if your room is available.
€11.50 PER NIGHT for the safe. We gave it a miss. I don't know if this is standard across all Globales hotels?
The all inclusive drinks menu is really poor, there is not much local drink on it and everything else is chargeable. The glasses are small so you spend a lot of time standing in the constant queue at the bar.
The entertainment is simply awful and centres around poorly executed in-house Bingo.
The lifts are an absolute nightmare, they are old, never seem to arrive and when they do they're full. Warning for parents with children, the lift doors will close on you. There is a 3rd lift hidden round the corner but that's the same.
In summary I'd say this is a 3* hotel not 4*, even in Spanish ratings.
Had a fab 4 night stay! Very clean hotel, food was decent. Carolina, Paul & Sofia absolutely fantastic, totally make the holiday! Thanks guys for an enjoyable stay x
Food was good and no real wait times, rooms were kept clean regularly, location was excellent for beach, shops and restaurants.
Some staff were rude, most were really nice. Needs more lifts. They can take a while.
Beautiful hotel, staff are lovely, I was really impressed with the food choices, both in the restaurant and the snack bar. Read lots of reviews on the bar waiting times, luckily we never waited longer than 2/3 mins. Big shout out to Miguel, who's so sweet, funny and fantastic at his job. Great location, rooms are spotless and really nice. Only 2 downfalls are: Rooms - you can hear everything from neighbours. And lastly -the lifts....broke down twice, not big enough for the hotel and so slow.stopping at every floor most of the time, with nobody getting in, you can only fit 4 people in,so lots of families were having to wait. Apart from that it's a great hotel,I highly recommend and would I return? YES!
Pool area and pool excellent no fighting for sun beds everyday people not putting towels down no earlier than 8am
Lifts for the size of the hotel were awful
Need to get rid of the token system for drinks it’s pointless
Desayuno y ubicación
WIFI y ruido
Fantastic hotel! Entertainment staff Sofia, Paul and Carolina were amazing and Miguel behind the bar made our break perfect!!!! We had a ball thank you!!!!!
Fabulous
A nice clean hotel with mix of families, couples, and groups enjoying the pool area together. A walk away from the beach, bars, and Magaluf, and an easy bus ride away from Palma.
Helpful front desk staff that were really accommodating with rooms on arrival and helped with luggage storage. A good spread of food for each meal, with snacks and drinks always available in between.
Just one to note if you arrive with lots of luggage - the lifts are quite small.
A shout out to the entertainment team (Carolina, Sofia and Paul) who made our time spent at the hotel so fun, as well as Miguel on ground floor bar :) Will miss our nightly bingo!
Things that are good:
* the food is nice
* the hotel has recently been renovated so it’s clean and tidy
Things that aren’t good:
* Some of the staff are rude, especially around the pool bar
* they have this really pointless drinks system, each guest is given two tokens, you exchange a token for drinks, which just seems a bit pointless as who is really going to want to steel a rubbish plastic cup
* The bar only allows you to get 2 drinks at a time, then you have to queue again, that was for a drinks order of a beer, coke and water!
* you have to queue for everything
* there is no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, which makes the queues at the coffee machines horrendous.
* There are no beach towels, not event to hire, but you can buy one for €11 at the hotel or €5 in the town!
* The hotels sells itself on sustainability but in all fairness they could do way more things in that space!
My honest opinion is it’s not a 4* hotel, I would put it at a 2* to *3 at most
We didn’t stay here in high season and th hotel feels very crowed
To sum it up, if you like queuing it’s the hotel for you!
Had a great week here. Hotel and room very clean and modern. Drinks good, token system so you have to return your glasses to get another drink or your tokens back for the next day. Food was ok.
Location good, 5 minute walk to the beach and lots of shops, bars & restaurants.
Entertainment was mostly good, singers, dancers, karaoke. Shoutout to the entertainment team, Carolina was really great and Sophia. Also the two bar men who were working most evenings were fun.
Would happily stay again.
My friend and I (in our 30s) have just got back from 4 nights all inclusive at Hotel Mimosa, and honestly please ignore any negative reviews.
In summary, the hotel is modern, spotlessly clean, has loads of sunbeds, a huge pool with sun all day, the food was great, and rooms were very comfortable. There was some entertainment by the pool in the day, and evening entertainment in the bar. There is a supermarket next door (if you're all inclusive you won't need anything!) And the main strip/beach is a 10 minute walk away.
We thought the token system for drinks was a brilliant idea. You have 2 tokens each, trade them in for drinks, then just trade in your cups for more. It meant there were no dirty cups left lying around.
My only two negatives would be that yes, the 3 lifts are small and slow, and the pool was very cold. Hardly enough to warrant avoiding the place! However if you have mobility issues or a young child, it would be really annoying. Also, we were on the 5th floor and usually took the stairs, but you definitely wouldn't want to climb any higher than that!
Rooms:
Clean, modern, very comfy beds, TV, fridge, AC, nice bathroom with soap & shower gel/shampoo, adjustable shower, our balcony had a sea view (none of the rooms face the pool, but one side gets a side view, the other faces a busy road). No kettle or cups, but you can get hot drinks all day/evening.
Food:
We were all inclusive. There was an amazing selection at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Breakfast had continental meats/cheeses/pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, bread, eggs (scrambled, boiled, fried, and omelettes), pancakes, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, and beans. Coffee/tea, fruit juices, mimosa/sparkling wine, and several types of milk (dairy, lactose free, soya, and oat).
Lunch and dinner always had a selection of salads, cold meats/cheeses, mini salad pots, pizzas, pasta, chips. Hot meals included fish, chicken, and lamb dishes. Various theme sections, including Mexican fajitas, Spanish tapas, American burgers. Beautiful desserts, ice cream, fresh fruit, and cakes. Honestly the list goes on, I don't know how someone wouldn't find something they like. The hot food was never cold, but there was a microwave if needed.
The pool snack bar outside was open all day with burgers, hot dogs, pizzas, chips, and cakes.
There was a good selection of all inclusive drinks, but most of the cocktails were premixed so not great! Good beer and sangria, spirits, and usual soft drinks.
Absolutely would recommend this hotel and would visit again.
Amazing, great entertainment, everyone was so welcoming that worked there. Again Miguel, Carolina, Sophia and Paul all did the most to make the experience so amazing and fun. Very lovely people that added to the holiday it was great
Entertainment staff were amazing, especially Paul, Sofia and Carolina. Miguel behind the bar was also very fun and friendly.
Can't fault the place . Food excellent well worth the money
