La Marjolaine

Чудесное место! Очень чисто, удобное расположение, номера небольшие, но есть все необходимое. Предоставляют пляжные полотенца, очень удобно. Но, главное, это отношение! Чувствуешь себя желанным гостем. Очень доброжелательные владельцы и весь персонал. Спасибо за отдых!

Our stay at La Marjolaine was exceptional. The staff were incredibly kind and flexible: due to personal reasons we had to change our reservation twice, including once during the peak season, and they accommodated us without any extra charges. On arrival, they even allowed us to park and go for lunch before check-in, and they were there to welcome us at the agreed time.

The room was not particularly spacious, but it was charming, comfortable, and very well equipped. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh viennoiseries, bread, butter and jam, dried fruit, tea, coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel is also easy to reach and offers convenient on-site parking (for a reasonable extra fee).

Friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous location just a couple of hundred metres from the station and close to the beach. Great air conditioning in the room which was essential during a heatwave. Excellent breakfast. Great value for this area in a lovely large house.

Mycket lugnt och behagligt boende helt centralt i Juan-les-Pins. En utmärkt fransk frukost serverades på en vackert dukad bricka till varje gäst på den skönt skuggade uteserveringen framför hotellet. Värdinnan och övrig personals bemötande var så vänligt. Sov mycket bra i mjuk och skön säng och förvånande ostört under nätterna med tanke på det centrala läget - som är perfekt om man kommer med tåg.

We loved our stay at La Marjolaine! Our flight was delayed and we were due to arrive late in the evening but we rang and our charming host stayed up to let us in which was certainly not expected but so very much appreciated after a long travel day.

It’s not a flashy, modern establishment but that is part of its charm; a cosy B&B vibe though it’s a large property, with a gorgeous staircase leading up to the rooms, super comfortable beds, good bathroom and shower facilities and we were lucky enough to have a balcony looking over the courtyard with a table and chairs which we made full use of. Our room was cleaned beautifully each day and the bed made for us which was such a nice touch, and all the staff we met greeted us each day (and were very kind about our not brilliant French)! You can get a lovely little breakfast each morning in the courtyard but there are lots of boulangeries and cafes close by if you’re willing to venture out and wander Juan-les-Pins. Our room was on the second floor and stayed beautifully cool during unseasonably warm weather thanks to the great air conditioning. It was also super quiet, barely any traffic on the street and little noise at all from other guests. Good WiFi too!

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Juan-Les-Pains train station with access to Nice-St Augustin for Nice Airport and all the way to Grasse and Ventimiglia in each direction on TER trains. Antibes is about a 20-25 minute walk and also accessible by quite train - lots to see and do, beaches to visit and beautiful walks. We couldn’t recommend this spot more, especially for the price.

La Marjolaine itself is exactly as described, and the service certainly exceeded our expectations. We’ll be recommending La Marjolaine to anyone we know heading to the South of France and hope to return ourselves.

Everything about the hotel was excellent with the exception of the room. The room was sufficient for myself as I was traveling solo. This however is not a knock on the hotel but rather a gripe I have with booking.com as they like to advertise the grander rooms within a hotel, then when you show up you end up in an underwhelming room. My room was adequate for one person, but had I been traveling with my partner, it would have posed an issue. I'm not sure if Nicole runs the hotel but she is an absolute darling.

Fantastic location, gorgeous building, garden car park
