Hotel Collodi Firenze

Excellent location close to the city centre and all the main sites. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Air conditioning was superb. Shower was powerful. Fridge provided meant we could pop drinks in for the duration of our stay. Room was sizeable for a quadruple with ample space for three of us. Bathroom was also a good size. Kettle and coffee machine were provided which were excellent. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was simple but offered everything we needed to start the day.

Great Location! Hotel was great for the 4 of us (one king, two twin beds). Bathroom was really good. Hotel Breakfast was continental style with pastries, fruit, yogurt, good coffee and juice. Staff was welcoming, attentive, and informative. Hotel was family friendly and good for a middle-class budget.

The room was very nice, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was also very good, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would happily stay there again.

The location is excellent for central Florence. The hotel is small and traditional. A simple but good breakfast was included. The room was spacious, clean and although the decor is traditional the bathroom was comfortable with an excellent modern shower and plenty of hot water. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They arranged a very early taxi pick-up with no problems.

Lovely accommodations, perfect location, and exceptional hospitality. The owner personally found us at the crowded train station to return money I had accidentally left in the safe. Such kind, honest people. Highly recommend!!

Excellent location - walking distance to all sightseeing and the central train station. Very clean, beautifully decorated, spacious family room, excellent quiet air conditioning, kettle and coffee maker in the room.

Good location. For what I was paying I was shocked when the taxi driver said "you are in your hotel". It was a very old and narrow door. The office is pretty thigh. There is a small antique elevator like 24x24 and it only takes you to floor 1. They gave us the last room in the second floor and the lady said she didn't have any room in the bottom floor. I asked the person at the front desk what was in the building before a hotel and said that it was a monastery. There was not air in the bathrooms and the air in the room was not working. We had to open the window and be exposed to the across streets apartments and the noise from drunk people at the bar next door. There were mosquitos at night. I did not like it at all. This is a PENSIONE, not a hotel. The pictures used to advertise it are amazing, they are not realistic. Almost $300.00 per night??? I have no idea why people rate this place as high as they do. Not worth it!

We absolutely loved this hotel. Everyone at the front desk was super helpful and extra nice. The 3 of us had a triple room, very spacious , one king and a single bed. Plus one extra bed. The room was clean and had lots of extras. Loved this hotel for many reasons!!! Plus a few blocks from the train station. We felt safe at all times. Lots of character and the breakfast was a nice bonus each morning. This was the perfect hotel for us and we hated leaving. Hope to come back to Italy and stay here again!!!
