Peaceful and beautiful hotel with nice views over the city on Nice.
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful and located in a peaceful area on a hillside. We walked to the city center and to the old town which took about 20-30 minutes but the area was nice and we felt very safe to walk there. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Philippe at the front desk, who seemed to know every guest by name. Our room was quiet and modern and the balcony was nice.

Cons:

The breakfast is quite expensive (40 eur / person) and even though the selection is plentiful, the quality was not worth the price in our opinion. It was by no means bad, but if you walk 15 mins to the city, you can find a lot of cafes and get a better breakfast at half the price.

Top choice for personal touch.
Pros:

We have just enjoyed a fabulous week at Le Petit Palais - an elegant, quiet, boutique sized hotel with great views of the city. Our room was lovely - exceptionally clean with a super front facing terrace. The staff were most welcoming and super friendly. Always happy to help. The buffet style breakfast was delicious and we ate on the patio most days. The front of house team organised taxis and restaurant bookings for us which was a huge help. A ten out of ten choice for a hotel with a personal touch. We will definitely return . Rachel and Nick

Perfect place to stay outside of of tourist areas
Pros:

Charming room with a small balcony, Excellent bathroom with a great shower. Very comfortable bed. Close to the Marc Chagall museum. Ten minutes walk from Garibaldi square. Breakfast in a garden is better that in most 5 star hotels.

I would definitely stay here again!!

The staff and the property itself was magnificent

Cons:

Not a lot around the property as far as restaurants or shops, but that made it very peaceful. It was not a long walk and downhill to reach town. There was a driver always available to pick up and drive back to the hotel. Very nice!!

Wonderful place with a personal touch
Pros:

Beautiful small hotel, personal touch with wonderful staff, I received an upgrade to a larger room which was still small, but had everything you need, everything works, small issue with making up the room was handled professionally. All in all highly recommended.

Cons:

The hotel has a nice breakfast room and a terrace, but there is no food at night, and the bar is not staffed. If you want any of this you are looking at a walk down - and up the hill.

Our stay at this hotel and in such a beautiful location will live long in our memories

From the moment we arrived at the airport, to be greeted by our friendly pre-arranged private taxi driver, to the warm greeting at reception on arrival at our hotel to the return journey home we were met by professional and welcoming people. Everyone we encountered were very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast options were varied, freshly prepared and tasty. Special mention goes to Kevin and Philippe who couldn't have been more welcoming, and knowledgeable in making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We booked a room with a sea view which we would highly recommend. The view from the room was spectacular, looking down on the city below towards the sea. Nice is a wonderful city with much to offer
