A great location in an hotel with real character.

Pros:

The location of the hotel was excellent for visiting the historic area of Rouen.
The breakfast was very good. The staff managing the breakfast did a remarkable job, especially keeping the croissant tray full !
All the staff were very helpful and considerate.

There is nothing that we did not like.

Schönes Hotel, weniger schönes Zimmer

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt, aber dennoch ruhig in einem Innenhof.
Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet, gerade der Frühstücksraum und die Lobby laden zum Verweilen ein. Das dazugebuchte Frühstück war sehr gut.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss und ziemlich dunkel. Aus den Fenstern blickte man auf einen asphaltierten, trostlosen Innenhof. Unser Badezimmer war eine Art "Nasszelle" ohne Begrenzung der Dusche, sodass sich das Wasser überall auf dem Badezimmerboden verteilte. Mitten in der Nacht war für längere Zeit ein lautes Brummen aus der Wand oder Decke zu hören, von dem wir aufgewacht sind.
Das Bett war extrem weich.

A real Rouen experience!
Pros:

Location was superb. Staff were extremely helpful. My request to change a double bed room for a twin bed was dealt with promptly. The hotel itself has real style and we appreciated the many touches to make it a real 'Flaubert' experience!

Cons:

I always find shower rooms a bit tricky because the floor of the shower can be very slippery when wet and there aren't always grab rails. I managed OK this time, but it is something you might want to think about for future (elderly) guests.

Lo único bueno de este sitio es la ubicación

Cons:

De las 4 estrellas que tiene lamentable le sobran 2, es muy viejo y sucio, el edredón que nos habían puesto estaba muy sucio, el WC estaba asqueroso y sin limpiar bien , la cama incomodisima y las almohadas más de lo mismo, la habitación es diminuta y muy incomoda, nos marchamos a las 11 y no había nadie en recepción para despedir a los huéspedes en un hotel de 4 estrellas, en definitiva me voy a un hostal antes de este hotel de 4 estrellas.
