Good parking at rear of hotel (paid), but also free on road outside.

Perfect location and facilities. Friendly and happy staff. View of the chateau from our room and the pool. Which was actually warm!! Rare these days

Pour fermer la porte il faut la claquer. On peut entendre les personnes au dessus ( parquer bois).

Beautiful, quiet hotel set along banks of Loire. Our room overlooked the river and was spacious, clean and comfortable. Rear courtyard was pretty with plenty of cafe tables and chairs to enjoy wine or coffee. Few minutes walk into Saumur town center. A very good value for the money. We had no problem finding parking steps away. You can reserve one of limited number of spots hotel has in rear of property for 15 E / night. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Bed was comfy , ended up with the better room we booked as initially were given one with no view & dark .
The room was spacious & comfortable.
More traditional than modern but had what was needed .
Breakfast was very good & extensive.
Heated pool although very small was added bonus.
Parking could be found nearby free if you arrived early enough.
Very safe to park .
Traffic noise an issue first thing in the morning if on the front but got used to it & didn’t cause us any problems.
The staff overall were very friendly & accommodating.

Quite busy as popular & good marketing
Situated in the centre of Saumur, this is an ideal place to stay when wondering around Saumur and exploring the sites of the Loire.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable. The hotel has a private car park with a number of charging points for EV vehicles. A car parking place needs to be booked in advance. Adjoining the hotel is an outstanding restaurant called L’Essentiel. I would highly recommend eating here
