A absolute gem ❤️
Pros:

We chose one of their Villa Superior rooms which we would highly recommend. Comfortable bed, nice en-suite with a great shower, private terrace as well as access to a quiet communal decking area with sun beds just outside our room. Everything in the setting was good quality and well cared for.
The view was breathtaking!
Loved the option of creating your own juice at breakfast, and all that was on offer. It’s clear lots of thought had gone into what was on available and the presentation.
We stayed 8 nights, and thought we would venture out to other restaurants during our stay, but the restaurant menu was varied and all the food delicious - so we found no need to eat elsewhere. It’s popular with locals as well as others arriving by boat from other resorts - so you do need to book your table for both lunch & dinner.
Staff were all excellent - the classic family run feel was strong, with such a special atmosphere. Thank you to all the family and staff - we loved it!

Cons:

This isn’t something we didn’t like, but depending on what you want from the resort and your holiday, we were pleased to have hired a car. My husband likes to run most mornings and I like to walk - the road is narrow along this stretch of the lake and you have to have your witts about you when on foot - as the traffic has a good pace to it! With just a 10min drive to Bellagio from the hotel, we started our day with a trip to the town, where we could enjoy our runs & walks before coming back for breakfast. A great work out if you like elevation, very pretty surroundings and more glorious views of the lake.

Ein toller Platz, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Die Aussicht auf den See ist großartig. Ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden.

Pros:

L hôtel est au top , nous avions la chambre 2 avec vue sur le Lac magnifique , elle n est pas très grande mais suffit pour un petit séjour.
Équipement à notre disposition sur la plage.. Padel ...canoë..toboggan sur le lac .serviette et transat .
Personnel très gentil , la personne qui nous a accueilli le jour de notre arrivée parlait français .
Un petit déjeuner au top du top.
Petit bémol: place de parking difficile a avoir en fin de journée avec la grosse influence du restaurant mais on nous a toujours trouve une solution
Je recommande à 100%.

Brilliant hotel. Amazing location. Please visit!
Pros:

Loved my stay here. Family run and in a wonderful location right on Lake Como. The staff were brilliant - effortlessly looking after me and making me feel that they cared about my experience. The room overlooked the lake with a balcony - I couldn't ask for more. They have a watersports club attached to the hotel that caters for your every need. The food was amazing - dinner and breakfast. What I liked was that it wasn't in the main crush of either Como or Bellagio. Small town and a more authentic experience. The cost was also extremely reasonable for the area. I am looking for the next time I can go back! Secure parking too.

Cons:

Everything was brilliant. Nothing I disliked at all.

Ein wunderschönes Kleinod direkt am See - very romantic!

Das kleine Hotel Villa Aurora spielt in einer höheren Liga als die drei bescheidenen Sterne vermuten lassen. Das Hotel bietet unglaublich viel Charme und ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Die Lage direkt am Comersee ist wunderschön. Die Strasse vor dem Haus ist in keinster Weise ein Störfaktor. Unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Sicht auf den See buchen - es gibt kaum etwas romantischeres, als mit dem Blick auf den See aufzuwachen. Das Restaurant ist toll und bietet eine wunderbare Küche und eine tolle Auswahl an Weinen bei aufmerksamem Service. Der hauseigene Beach Club lädt zum Verweilen und Schwimmen im See ein. Was braucht man noch mehr!
