Expensive for a hotel that could do with being updated and refreshed.
Pros:

The location is great. Right near Baker Street so easy access to the tube. Breakfast ticked the box as you’d expect but nothing overly special.

Cons:

The hotel its self is quite dated. Could do with a bit of modernising. The rooms are well used and I would say don’t match the price point. We also had to move rooms because the aircon didn’t work but it looked well over 10 years old. They didn’t have another room the same as the one booked so we had to just have what was available.

I will not be returning
Pros:

Breakfast food and coffee were good. The front desk staff was the one thing that made the stay good and will be the best thing I remember about London.

Cons:

The room was uncomfortably small and hot. It was like a closet, so it made unpacking feel unwanted. The hotels elevator was out of order and this made the desire to see london less achievable. I could barlely make it downstairs for breakfast much less feel like walking the town the trekking up multiple flights of stairs. The luggage was the most difficult part. Getting it down was even harder. I had to let go and watch it sled down til it hit a wall then again the next flight of stairs. The neighborhood was fine and safe but nothing special.

Just average…
Pros:

Staff were okay but service wasn’t exceptional, the room itself looked bigger and more modern on the pictures. The room was purely functional, nothing special.

Cons:

Breakfast was awful, not very good quality buffet, in a basement.

Very friendly & helpful staff in every way. Very clean. Excellent breakfast from 7.30 to 10 am. Perfect for Marylebo
Pros:

Blandford is so close to Baker St. station & Weatherspoon for good beer and quick, reasonably priced food. Also several coffee shops & restaurants on Chiltern St., easy access to more on Baker St. I loved that it was near the London Contemporary School of Piano at the Bluthner Centre, with Prêt a Manger nearby. The hotel includes an excellent cooked breakfast with lots of choices, making it a great value.

Cons:

Rooms are a bit small but very clean & comfortable with essentials like iron, dressing gown, coffee & tea, shower & elevator to all floors.
