This was our second stay at Acta Splendide. Our favorite place to stay in Barcelona.

Be Aware of having Front Desk call Taxi-They Rip you Off!
Pros:

Modern and elegant facilites. Older male receptionist nice and helpful.

Cons:

We did not appreciate getting taken advantage of by the front desk receptionist. She called a taxi for us, but her taxi driver overcharged us for the ride to the airport. His meter read $37.75 and then when we arrived he added more money for a total of $51.50....Our friends rodé on another taxi an hour earlier and paid $32.00...It seems like the hotel gets a kickback for doing a courtesy of calling a taxi. BE AWARE!!! We really felt robbed...The male receptionist had no personality and completely unfriendly and unhelpful.

Pros:

Location was amazing, very near the metro and variety of food next to the hotel. The room was clean and even has a coffee machine. Breakfast was very good, different variety everyday

Beautiful hotel with lots of little details which made for a luxury feeling stay.
Pros:

It is a beautiful hotel. Decor is lovely and there is an attention to detail which makes it a really nice place to stay. Location is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Just a lovely vibe from the hotel. Room was a great size, very spacious. Bathroom was amazing, big and really stylish. Lots of little details which made things special. Room was clean and plenty of storage spaces. Really, really nice hotel.

Cons:

Our room didn’t have a street view but I’m sure others did. And actually not being on the street meant the room was very quiet. The air conditioning was a bit noisy for using during the night but when you put it on, it cooled the room really quickly.

Gute Lage, gute Zimmergrössen
Pros:

Superior Dreibettzimmer hatte eine super grösse für drei Personen. Wir haben täglich frische Badtücher etc. erhalten und die Reinigungen waren sehr sauber. Metro war unmittelbar in der Nähe.
Locker-Room für An- und Abreisetag zur Verfügung mit Dusche!

Cons:

Leider war der Herr beim Einchecken nicht besonders freundlich. Wir können verstehen, dass es nach Mitternacht war, aber es wurde uns mehrfach gesagt, dass unsere Zahlung nicht eingetroffen sei, obwohl ich ein Bestätigungs E-Mail hatte. Nach mehreren Minuten diskutieren ist dann die Zahlung auf einmal aufgetaucht.. Alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren sehr höflich.

Pros:

מיקום מעולה, חדר מרווח ונקי, מיטה נוחה ואחלה מקלחת. מלון שקט מאד במיקום מרכזי, הכל למטה במרחק הליכה קצר

סבון ושמפו לא משהו, אין כובע רחצה ומקלות אוזניים, מומלץ להביא מהבית
