das Zimmer war recht klein. Duschkabine mit Vorhang. Das Frühstück mit 18 Euro ist recht teuer.

La colazione, il fatto che non avessero i condizionatori ma solo i ventilatori (noi siamo stati fortunati che non faceva caldo durante il soggiorno, ma secondo me con il grande caldo si starebbe male) e la posizione che per chi come noi si muove principalmente a piedi non è molto comoda.

The hotel works in, what I would call, a scam scheme. In order to understand this, one has to understand the experience we underwent in this place. We chose the hotel because the pictures looked quite nice and the location was great (and the price was very good for Vienna).
As we got there we were pleasantly surprised by a renovated, air conditioned hotel lobby which was very clean. Right after check-in the experience went completely downhill. We get into the elevator and were hit by a wave of heavy and hot air, strongly contrasting with the nicely air conditioned hotel lobby. As we got to the 4th floor we were greeted by an even hotter and heavier air with a strange smell and flickering lights in the hallway. When we get to our room, the smell gets much worse with the bathroom literally smelling too strong for us to even walk in. The table in the room was broken, walls heavily damaged, windows couldn’t open, there was no air conditioning and as the cherry on top, upon closer inspection, our bed sheets were stained (I do not know what the liquids were), full of long and shorter curly hairs (presumably pubic hair) and did not smell correctly.

After that, we thought about it for a second and decided that we did not really feel comfortable staying in the hotel, we wanted to check out immediately, and were offered a different room. Accepted, went there (elevator and hallways were the same) but as soon as we walk into the room we see a completely different decor and conditions. The room is renovated, has a large TV and even a ventilator (yes it was still very hot). Bedsheets were still disgusting but we did our best and slept in clothes.

Clearly, they keep the “good” rooms for those who complain, even if the rooms are only superficially okay.

Huoneessa oli todella painostavan kuuma, joten siellä oltiin vain yöt. Ilmastointia huoneessa ei ollut ja lattiatuuletin ei viilentänyt huonetta ollenkaan. Lisäksi en tiedä mikä vika pistorasioissa oli, koska kännykät eivät lataantuneet kunnolla.

Kleinigkeiten möchte ich hier nicht aufzählen, da ein etwas tropfender Duschschlauch oder etwas ältere Möbel für mich kein Grund zum meckern sind (siehe die positiven Dinge oben).
Wer Perfektion möchte sollte ein anderes Hotel buchen und ich denke man gibt dann schnell den doppelten Preis aus.
Ich habe mein Geld lieber täglich in Wien für diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten etc. ausgegeben.

Het kon erg warm worden in het hotel, in de kamer en er buiten wat heel benauwd voelde. Het ontbijt kon net iets meer opties aanbieden.

Det var ingen ventilation. Meget varmt på værelset. Støj fra gaden.
